What brand of water bottles does this work best on?

I used the labels on both 12 fl oz Dasani and 16.9 fl oz Pure Life water bottles. The labels are clear. So I removed the original labels before adhering these. Be careful when placing the label because it has high-tack glue on the back. Consequently, it is difficult to reposition after applying.

Is there a certain ink to use so that it doesn't smear and wipe off when it gets wet?

I have an inkjet photo printer and printed using the following settings: glossy paper and letter size. I also made sure the ink was completely dry (5-10 minutes) before handling and adhering.
