I have a hard time getting shoes of any kind due to a high arch and a wide foot, but FootJoy had the size I needed and they have felt great from day 1. They feel great and also "play" great, doing what golf shoes are supposed to do - stabilizing my feet during the swing. The arch support is good and the cushioning is balanced with firm support - just right. I've had great luck with FootJoys over many years of playing golf and after keeping my last pair for over 10 years, it was an easy decision to get these. I expect to have them a long time.

The shoes are a half size too big. The shoes look great and are very stable on the course. The only issue is if you wear lower socks. The first time I wore these, it scraped the skin on my Achilles. Other than that they are a good overall pair of shoes.

Very good golf shoes, I usually wear a size 12 but but I had to size down a half size. They are comfortable and stable. I would purchase these again.

Run true to size, great support very comfortable to walk in and dry. Typical foot Joy quality really good.

As a 30 year plus wearer or FJ golf shoes, I was looking forward to the Alpha. I have to say, in this case, I don’t know what FJ was thinking. The pull tab in the back will give anyone and everyone blisters no matter how many times you wear them. It almost as if they were designed to be as uncomfortable as possible. I would absolutely recommend against purchasing this shoe. Extremely disappointing.

I've played golf for 40 years, prob in 30+ pairs of golf shoes over the years, these are by far the most uncomfortable i have had, gave them a chance and have had 8 rounds in them with plasters on my heels trying to stop the pain....but nothing has changed, i cant have another round of golf in them so have gone back to my old pair. I wish i'd spoken to one of my fellow golfers as he had a pair of these and stopped wearing them for the same reasons. I did write to the seller asking for a refund but as they were worn they said no, which is convenient - dont know how you can justify their 'marketing' claims of comfort without wearing them ! There's plenty of other options out there, maybe try those first.

The shoes have a loop on the heel and tonge which makes them so easy to put on. A great design and they are really comfortable to wear.Plus I had 15% off which made them even better value.

So at the price they are at the top end of what I would want to pay, however these shoes are waterproof, very comfortable and give very stable footing, both walking carrying my bag and through the golf swing.I have been out in the rain and walked along soaked fairways and found these shoes to be excellent..

Recently bought these as a winter golf shoe.Went for the "wide" size option and found that they were slightly loose with normal socks. However, during the cold, winter months I wear 2 pairs of socks and this wide fit was perfect.Nice soft leather top and totally water-proof.
