Are these safe to sit on a hot plate?

Hello, these ceramic bowls cannot be heated directly on a hot plate, we suggest to heat the food in the microwave.

Where are these bowls made?

These are china bowls. And they are very sweet. They're a little small--good for fruit and a small bowl of soup. The write-up says they are porcelein ceramic bowls. They are very cute.

Is it safe to make candles with

They may be a little big for a candle unless you’re using three wicks. They are 10 ounce bowls. All I can say is they are oven safe and microwave safe. Really can’t say if it would be good for a candle or not. Sorry I couldn’t help.
