Excellent flavor
I used this on a 24hr soaked corned beef and made a smoked pastrami. It came out delicious!

Great Pastrami Rub
Just used this rub for the first time, and it came out great. Great flavor, and very well ground so you don't end up with big chunks of peppercorns falling off the pastrami. I used a pre-brined and packaged corned beef brisket, rubbed it and refrigerated overnight, then smoked and steamed it. Out of the bag the rub has a very strong cumin and clove scent, but they didn't overpower the pastrami once it was cooked and it tasted like a legit NY style pastrami.
