Low Profile Triple Hot Shoe Light and Sound Bracket with HD-Toys 360 Degree Mount Included

The Campro Low Profile Triple Hot Shoe bracket is a great little device. It is surprisingly solidly built, but not heavy. The all-metal construction gives it the "built -to-last" feel. I wouldn't worry about this bracket buckling even with the weight of a 7 inch LCD monitor attached to it, (although I haven't tested that arrangement myself yet). I would worry more about the camera's hot shoe getting stripped from an overloaded bracket. I plan to use mine connected to both the camera's hot shoe as well as the upper rods of my rig so that the camera is anchored above and below. This should help eliminate the wobble that I get sometimes and make the rig feel a little more solid.The cold shoe clamps are spring loaded to provide resistance and insure a solid grasp on your mounted devices. There is a hole dead-center in the frame for attaching an umbrella or umbrella-type softbox if you plan to use the bracket to combine multiple flash units with the bracket mounted to a light stand. This is one of those little things in your kit that you just love because it's so darn useful and well built.

Spent days scouring the internet for usually somewhat-expensive multi-shoe mounts for my DSLR as I'm in constant need to be able to throw on my shotgun mic and usually a light, wireless receiver, etc. Other mounts were either too expensive or looked darn awkward for the set up (who wants a multi-mount that makes their DSLR kit a full foot taller?). This mount is great though. Very durable, solid build and very easy to add, remove on the fly on busy shoots. Small and versatile as well. Would definitely recommend as an inexpensive and more durable alternative than some of the other options out there.

Works as intended, though not completely satisfactory. I find it difficult to secure the position of the hot shoe mount at the bottom of this bracket where you would mount it on the camera. It would come loose rather easily. You could probably tighten it better with some sort of tool, but that shouldn't be necessary for this kind of product. It can hold the other items I'd like to attach to it well like the mic, camera, light, remote, etc. I also noticed that the black paint would chip off or scrape off easily. Other than that I'm ok with it and I can work with the issues.

This is a low cost, excellent alternative of connecting devices fo use with your camcorder (if it has a hot shoe attacment) but more specifically for dslr's. It is very sturdy and made of metal so it is NOT some plastic thing that will break on you. The only thing to be aware of and I wish the product would include them is that you must provide your own tripod adaptors to connect to the bracket. Still excellent value for the price.

I recently purchased this bracket at about $25 here on Amazon. I also purchased another differently branded bracket for just under $10 here on Amazon. Upon close inspection of both brackets, they are impossible to tell apart. They both even have the same cast marks, slightly crooked, exactly the same - as if they came from the exact same cast. I highly recommend looking around here at Amazon and buying the cheaper, identical $10 bracket! That being said, the bracket itself is all metal, and plenty heavy-duty enough to mount things like mics or lights. The tightening knobs are plastic, but seem to work well. The weight is moderate, and the bracket doesn't feel cheap. I can't say anything about the umbrella hole in the middle, since I haven't used it for anything yet.

Purchased this item in order to be able to attach a michrophone, light and external monitor to my Canon 5D MkII ( as shown in the photograph). The unit is made of a very thick aluminum with three hotshoes with an adjustment screw (for securing items inserted into the shoes) and a foot with a a tightening wheel that secures the mount to the top of the camera. As an interesting aside, the mount also has a center hole with a set screw that will hold an umbrella shaft that converts the the brackel into an attachment to mount a portable flash onto a light stand. All in all the bracket is very well made and I will order several more to use in various configurations.

I bought this product a while ago and though it was a great idea. I needed to mount my zoom h1, video light, and shotgun mic all on my camera so to me, this was perfect. A perfect idea that is. The product is all metal which is a plus and is constructed very well. The part that isnt that great is the piece that connects the rig to the camera. I cannot get it tight enough, no matter what I have tried. No matter what it will turn to the left and right while on the camera which is terrible when I am using the mic and light. I really wish I could still return this and get my $20 back. Not worth it at all...

Very solid item and is compact. The product is only 3 in X 3 in and made from Aluminum, It mounted right up to my Cannon DSLR and holds my Rode Video Mic, my Rode SME Shock mount that holds a Digital recorder for audio and still has a bracket open that could hold a light or a monitor. I am very happy with it and this product is built well and will last many years, well worth the money!

Excellent; very useful

this product has become an important part of my camera gear even though I have two rigs a shoulder mount one and a cage one there are times I dont want to assemble a rig I just want to use the camera quick so this bracket on my camera allows me to connect my h4n G2 receiver quickly firmly and easy. It looks like its made from plastic but it is actually made from cast iron which surprised me but because of its compact size it dos'nt add significant weight.
