This little sewing kit is way more useful than I expected. I keep it in my bag when I travel since it’s TSA-compliant, and it’s already saved me a few times with loose buttons and quick fixes. The folding scissors are sharp and sturdy, and the kit comes with plenty of thread colors, pins, a tape measure, buttons, and even a needle threader—basically everything you need for emergencies. What I really like is how compact and organized it is. Even with 27 pieces, it stays neat in the hard plastic case and doesn’t take up any real space. It feels solid too—definitely not a cheap throwaway kit. The lifetime warranty on the scissors is a nice bonus and makes me feel good about the quality. I did not expect this kit to be this good. The scissors are fantastic. They fold up very small and store well in this tiny case. Perfect for a compact travel bag or in a backpack while camping. You never know when you might need to make a repair on a piece of clothes and this little gem has come in handy many times. The needles are nice and sharp and are easy to work with. The multiple colors of thread is very handy and the quality of the thread seems to be ok. It repairs seams fine and holds buttons. The thread is not as nice as some, but if that is important to you, put some of your own in the kit. The scissors. For such a tiny pair, they are sharp and easy to use. I would not cut out a pattern or anything, but I have had no trouble cutting a patch out of a scrap of denim to repair some pants while camping. This is a great kit.

This scissors are a little stiff to unfold upon first use, but I suspect with more use, they will unfold easier. Just be careful not to pinch your finger. It’s very well made; the scissors don’t feel cheap or flimsy and are very sharp.

Great to take on a trip quality seems nice

I bought this for the small scissors. They were very stiff at first. Working them with a fine lubricant and they open and close fine.

Small and compact, ton of different color threads. Can't complain for a travel kit

I own several pairs of these scissors and somehow, after my last move, I have misplaced every one. I can’t be without them so I’m back for another pair. I’ve used these for everything. My knitting and crochet supply/project bags. In my ballet bag. Even in my regular kit for sewing my pointe shoes. I have them in my desk, travel toiletries bag, and more. Yes, it’s insane I’ve misplaced so many pairs. But until I find them I needed another pair and these are so darn good it was worth the spend. I never have issues folding and unfolding them. Some of my oldest pairs are around a decade old, and they still function like brand new. Once open they’re like any other scissors and they stay sharp! Doesn’t matter if I’m scoring the sole of a leather pointe shoe or cutting through silk needlepoint threads. They do the job. I love that they have a little hole so you can add a charm or attach them to a lanyard. I didn’t need this little kit and as someone that’s been sewing since childhood I have better supplies on hand already. Still, it’s nice if you need these in a pinch. Even if you don’t, the box is really practical. I love small boxes like this for my project bags. I can never get enough. So this kit is just a phenomenal value. I’ll probably buy a second.
