Hi Dear, mine is 3b. I have been using this gel for 3 years in a row and I love it. It works great to fix the curls, it will help you in the day after as well.

I want a product that leaves the hair shiny with a wet look even when its dry? Does this product do that?

Honestly, no product will, if your hair is natural dry. You have to get your hair to a moisturized state first and that is with lots of deep conditioning, diet and water along with your leave in products and oils. This is a great product though. My hair was dry all the time after it was completely dry when I first went natural. I'm 3 years in now and I have a good moisture and protein balance routine. Good Luck!
