These Energizer CR2 lithium batteries do exactly what they’re supposed to—reliable power with zero hassle. I’m using them in my Vortex rangefinder, and performance has been solid. Fast readings, no lag, and consistent output even in colder temps. They hold their charge well, and Energizer’s lithium cells tend to last noticeably longer than cheaper off-brands, so you’re not constantly swapping batteries during a hunt. Packaging is clean, batteries are fresh, and the price is reasonable for the quality. If you need dependable CR2s for optics or other gear, these are a safe bet.

Works great for the money, good battery life

These batteries are absolutely worth it! I needed these for my camera that I carry around everywhere and got tired of the alternatives. I purchased other cheap CR2 batteries that worked well enough up until they would die at the most inconvenient times. Since I’m a heavy user always taking photos, I found myself having to swap batteries more than I’d like and after doing that a handful of times I got tired of it. No one likes it when you’re trying to take their photo when all of a sudden you need to change a battery. When out with friends they just want to keep going instead of waiting up for you to get out your spare and installing it. After going through my bulk budget batteries I decided to go with Energizer lithium since the brand hasn’t let me down before! Sure enough I can go through almost double the rolls of film I used to with the cheaper batteries! They’re also much more consistent in their longevity and I feel much more confident knowing how many shots I put on a battery and when I need to have a spare ready in my pocket or if I need to shoot fast, when to swap out before I know I’ll be shooting photos on the move. With the cheaper batteries it felt like a gamble on how long each would last. If you’re debating getting these over other options then just get these. I’d only go cheaper if it’s for something I’m not using that often and isn’t consuming much power or won’t need to swap batteries quickly on the go.
