I bought these to wear whilst giving my hamster medication from the vet, as he’s not keen on being picked up and I thought I might get bitten during the process. I liked that these have a choice of several different sizes so I could ensure a snug enough fit to still be able to hold him properly whilst wearing them. Sure enough, he did give me a little nip, but thankfully his teeth didn’t penetrate through, so they definitely made the process that little bit easier. I can’t comment on durability yet, but for me they fulfilled their purpose and were money well spent.

I have the 'standard' metal-type gloves for butchery but for light, similar work such a filleting fish etc, these work very well.

Take getting use to but perfect

These gloves are incredibly comfortable and offer great dexterity, making them perfect for detailed tasks like whittling. The material is tough but still flexible, so I don't feel restricted while working.While these gloves are fantastic for protecting against cuts, it’s important to note that they’re not stab resistant. If you’re pushing a knife towards your hand—especially during more forceful whittling or carving—you’ll want to be extra cautious. The gloves will protect you from most accidental slashes, but a stabbing motion can still penetrate, so I’d recommend being mindful of blade direction.Overall, I’m really happy with these gloves. They give me peace of mind while working with knives, and they don’t get in the way of the precision needed for fine carving work. Highly recommend.

I was hoping these would be thorn proof they are not, as like a knit type material, which is what i wanted them for, but for the price i will keep as gardening / yard gloves

Good Quality. Strong. Easy fit. Only used them a few times. Been very ill & unable to cook for a long while. Good grip. Cut resistant. Pluse lightweight

You get what you pay for I guess.Unless your little finger sits weirdly above your ring finger don't bother with these, which appear to be designed by someone who's never seen human hands.

The mandolin has not claimed any skin yet thanks to these bad boys! A must have when cooking with a sharp mandolin!
