Good sturdy construction. Good swr no trim and
Perfect for the price. Glad I went cobra. Super strong magnet. Cord was exactly the length I needed like to the inch. It is installed in a 1996 Lincoln town car through the driver side electrical channel under the bottom trim. Swr is near perfect out of the box. Had to lower the antenna mast fully into base and up 1mm and it was good. This antenna is paired with a uniden 880 cb. No mods.

Excellent quality. Strong magnet. Sends and receives out of the box. Haven't tuned it yet but has a good amount of adjustment, if needed. Packaging was terrible. Fortunately, nothing was missing or damaged.

Title: Save Yourself the Trouble—Get This One First! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I learned the hard way that you get what you pay for. I previously bought a different magnetic mount antenna that claimed to be "pre-adjusted" for SWR, but it was way off and had no way to actually adjust it. I decided to go with this Cobra antenna because the brand has been a solid name in radio for years. I should have just bought this one in the first place! It works perfectly, and it only took me a few minutes to get the SWR adjusted exactly where it needed to be. For the price, you can't beat the quality and peace of mind. Highly recommended.

Poor reception due to faulty connector
This was a gift for someone who also got a cb radio. You can see where the connector is, that part of the metal is MISSING. It is defective. The reception is NOT what it should be. I have seen many others who purchased, had the same problem. The connecting metal is poorly made and incomplete. Would like a refund.
