Can you run Spotify just using the radio, or do you need to connect it to your phone and run Spotify from there?

Hello, with Spotify you initially select the songs/playlist using the Spotify app on your phone, tablet or laptop, etc.  The Roberts internet radio and the smart device with the Spotify app need to both be connected to the same WiFi network. Through the Spotify app, you can select the internet radio from the list of available devices to play the audio through. Once this connection has been made, you can then control the music using the controls on the internet radio, such as play/pause, next track, previous track and volume adjustment. If the internet radio is switched off at the wall, then please reconnect the internet radio to Spotify using the Spotify app. With many thanks, Roberts Radio.

What is the wattage output on this radio ?

Hello, At Roberts we do not supply wattage values for our speakers as these are not considered to be a useful metric for making consistent comparisons between different products. A number of factors affect the quality of sound reproduced by a speaker, including the number and type of speaker components used to provide high, medium and low sound frequencies, and the rigidity and sound-proofing attributes of the materials used in the outer casing. The wooden casing on this model helps to improve sound quality, and the graphic equaliser function allows the sound output to be optimised for different types of music and spoken word. The 'L' versions use the newer, faster electronic chip-sets, which mean they have a faster processor and quicker start-up times. Many thanks, Roberts Radio.

How many buttons do you have to press to change channel? we often switch between 4 or 5 different radio stations, ideally without glasses on!

Hello, the Revival iStream 3 uses a turn and press mechanism to select radio stations, which is very easy to use. You can also save up to 40 internet radio stations, 10 DAB stations and 10 FM stations in the memory so they can easily be selected from the preset memory.

Question 4

Please can someone confirm that istream 3l plays bbc radio 3 via internet radio.  we don't have fm or dab reception and radio 3 has recently changed
