Fixed my Sega Dreamcast with this and an ML2032 rechargeable battery. Easy to replace, a solder sucker helps with the job. Now my Dreamcast doesn't make me stop and enter the date/time each time I turn it on. Now I have a bag full of these things, not sure what to do with the rest :)

Exactly what I was looking for, so far they work perfectly.

CR2032s fit nicely into these holders. The holders have clear markings for + and - sides, and the pins allow for direct mounting to a circuit board. Two pins are the negative of the battery, and the center pin is positive. The plastic is strong, holding the battery very tight. Scraping one showed it appears to be a glass bead/fiber impregnated ABS, though I'm not certain of that. Excellent value and easy to use!

These battery holders held my coin cell CR2032s just fine, but I was hoping for better balance when I stuck them in my breadboard. the wires on the bottom bent easily, so I had to readjust it every week, of whenever I was working with them. Mostly I could get them to work, but they fell out of the breadboards pretty quickly. Worked well for soldering, too. although, the plastic will melt if you solder for too long.

love powering LED projects with these no need for a switch just pull the battery, easy to solder and not much bigger than the battery that goes in it

I bought these just to experiment with leds and it really helps when having to replace the battery. Polarity is labeled clearly and the pins are well placed. I didn't see any labels on them though, so I had to try which pin was for what. Overall a great product.

Solder tab LiIon batteries are expensive and nobody locally stocks them. So, for the price of one solder tab battery, I now have 20 of the battery holders .... about a 10 lifetime supply. The trick with these is to find a place in the device to stash the holder as most times the dead battery is really tucked in deep in the gear. So, a little hook up wire and some heat shrink and put it in a new location. Simple and easy to change if/when the new battery goes dead.

Find the accompanying ML2032 3-volt rechargeable battery to slide into this, and it works wonders for replacing your old Sega Dreamcast clock battery. Installation does require soldering, though. Not too hard of a solder job, but requires a holder (or second person), and some steps were a pain.
