Great wallet from Ridge!
I absolutely love this minimalistic wallet design! The color is great, and has held up well over the last couple of months. It works well with my iPhone while using MagSafe, and doesn’t detach etc. It’s easy to get cards in and out, although I only have 4 that I carry. If you carry quite a few more cards it may be a little less exciting as it nearly requires you to remove all of them to get at one in the middle. The RFID blocking works very well, and to be honest almost too well LOL! I have an RFID work badge I was used to carrying in my old wallet and just walking into the card reader with no issues. This wallet does not allow this! I even attempted putting my card under the money clip, and it still requires me to partially slide it out in order to get my badge to scan. This is the idea of it though I suppose, so I can’t really complain! The price is a little steep for just a metal wallet, but the quality is on point. It also comes with extra hardware for it in the event you were to lose a screw. I would recommend if you’re not on a super tight budget.

The first thing I noticed…
In my pursuit to find the best slim wallet, I explored several options available on Amazon, eventually comparing three specific models: The Ridge Wallet, the Havenhurst Slim Wallet, and the Extremus Tactical Wallet. The first thing I noticed was the weight or rather how light the Ridge Wallet is compared to the other two.Starting with the budget-friendly choices, the Havenhurst Slim Wallet is priced at approximately $24.99. It boasts a carbon fiber construction, making it a durable and efficient choice for those seeking simplicity and functionality. Following closely, the Extremus Tactical Wallet, at around $29.99, offers a robust build quality with a slightly different aesthetic appeal, yet remains a strong contender for those prioritizing practicality. However, the question arises: does The Ridge Wallet justify its $149 price tag compared to its more economical counterparts? My personal and other reviewers’ experiences suggest it does. The Ridge Wallet as stated stands out in part due to its lightweight design, even when loaded with 12 cards, it feels lighter than both the Havenhurst and Extremus wallets, the latter even when empty. This was noticeable despite not having precise weight measurements. The decision to invest in The Ridge Wallet’s Forged Ember model stemmed from a desire for not just functionality but exceptional design and quality. The Ridge Wallet’s craftsmanship and the materials used in its construction are noticeably superior, contributing to its sturdy feel and refined finish. This quality extends to its presentation and packaging, which eclipse those of its competitors, offering a more premium unboxing experience. While the Havenhurst and Extremus wallets deliver on functionality and durability at a more accessible price point, The Ridge Wallet distinguishes itself through its meticulous design, superior material quality, and enhanced user experience. It caters to those who value both form and function in a wallet, possibly seeking to make a style statement as well.In conclusion, if your focus is purely on practicality and cost-effectiveness, both the Havenhurst and Extremus wallets are commendable options. However, for those drawn towards a blend of high-end craftsmanship, design, and a dash of exclusivity, The Ridge Wallet proves to be a worthwhile investment despite its higher price point.

Sleek and slim, but in my opinion not worth the price
Pros:I really like the aesthetics of this wallet. I think it looks very nice. The Ridge wallet seems to be very well made. It feels like quality. We will see how long the strap lasts, but after a couple of months of use it has held up with no issues. It is exactly what I wanted from a minimalist standpoint. I can put it in my front pocket without it obviously "printing". Reviews complain about not being able to hold very many cards, and this is true. But I bought it as a small travel wallet, so it does exactly what it is advertised as. I have seven cards in mine, and that seems fine.I rarely use cash, but I like to have some on-hand just in case, and the strap does allow for a few bills to be included. The RFID blocking is a nice benefit.Cons:It is quite expensive for what it is. For this price point I expected this wallet to be made in America, but the box indicates that it is made in China.Like other reviewers have mentioned, it can be tricky getting to any of the cards that are not on the outside of the stack. Put your most-used cards on either end, and it isn't too bad getting to these ones. Cards in the middle require pushing the whole stack out and fanning through.I struggled going between three or four stars for this wallet. My original purchase intent was to use it primarily for travel, but I have found that I have not gone back to my leather wallet. The Ridge wallet is what it is advertised as (a minimalist, RFID-blocking wallet), so as long as you are good with that and with the price point, then it is easily a four start product. If you expect it to be as convenient to access everything as a traditional wallet, then you may be disappointed. If it gets lost, I may try a cheaper option to see if I notice the quality difference. But so far, for how I want to use it, I would recommend this wallet.

Best wallet on the market (and it isn’t even close)
I don’t know how I lived without a Ridge wallet for so long. I’ll never go back to any other wallet after using this one for the last 3 years. After that long being my primary wallet, it still has perfect form and all of the screws are still tight. There are some scratches and minor cosmetic damage on the front plate, but that was to be expected after many drops. I keep this in my front pocket with my keys, and it has never felt uncomfortable. Not to mention I keep more cards in mine than most people (10 total cards). There is no other wallet on the market that can compete with Ridge. Every person in the world needs one of these.
