Won't Use Anything Else
This stuff works awesome!! Cleans our pond out pretty good. We have an acre pond with 2 constantly running pumps. About a day or two after using this all the weeds and fuzzy plant stuff floats to the surface. It's not attractive when this happens but with out pumps always running it gets pushed to the outside of the pond. We use a large water rake and scoop up the big chunks. Keeps the water clean and clear. No damage to the fish. Unfortunately we can't control our dog too much and he has jumped in while we were spraying the water and thankfully we haven't noticed any ill effects on him. My husband mixes this up and walks around the pond and sprays it in the water along the edges and every do often he will take the paddle boat out and spray this around the middle where our pumps are to help circulate this through the entire pond.

Effective Algaecide
We have a 2 acre pond that developed a serious filamentous algae problem this spring due to all of the fertilizer run off from surround fields.About 40% of our pond became covered with thick mats of algae when the temps reached 85 - 90.I have a 15 gallon sprayer that will spray out about 30 feet and was told to mix at the rate of 1 gal Cutrine to 9 gal of water. I also mixed in 22 oz of Cygnet Plus as a surfactant and sprayed along the shoreline and used a a jon boat to spray the rest of the pond out in the center. The first time I sprayed the algae was dead within 24 hrs, however I've needed to reapply whenever I see regrowth. But the product works well. While it didn't bother our turtles and fish I was told that Koi and Trout are very sensitive to this product. However the packaging they ship the jug in is really crappy! Just an over sized flimsy box with no bubble wrap or paper and twice the 2.5 gallon jug has arrived with the box damaged & the seal on the jug broken and the chemical leaking thru the box. Not good!

Works
I’ve been using for a few years. Really seems to control algae growth. I use 1 gallon per month for about a quarter acre pond that is 16 feet deep at the deepest point. Beach at shallowest.

filamentous algae treatment
at first it did not work on filamentous algae. I sprayed it on and used surfactant to help it stick, IF only using 1 part to nine parts water, it is not effective. Must use a stronger mix, and it will turn algae whitish for eventual decomposition. Rain helps a lot. Maybe 1 part to 6 parts water.

Exactly what I needed.
Used half a gallon of this product with 3 gallons of water. Algea was all around the perimeter of the pond but I only sprayed half of the perimeter and within 3-4 days the algea was gone. Great product. Easy to use and well worth the cost to see the unsightly algea gone.

GOOD STUFF ! Blocks Sunlight, inhibits bottom and other algae growth. Good Color.
GOOD STUFF ! Blocks Sunlight, inhibits bottom and other algae growth. Good Color. Not as Disney Land/World green as some dyes can be. This doesn't quite look natural, but best I have found. Natural would not dye water at all. We are in Houston, and heavy bright long sunny hot days demand using a dye in our One Acre lake. We are able to get about two treatments from one container. Without this dye our water would be crystal clear and the pond would turn over or blossom with algae growth. This prevents it.

Slow to work but works great
I’m updating the review in this because the product took a little longer to work but our pond looks amazing after two week and only half the container
