Nice but not what we expected
This bag was ok. We bought two travelpro duffel bags before, which were much better. We felt this version. Was a little flimsy by comparison.

Fabric not durable enough for checked baggage.
Expected more from Travelpro. Fabric has a hole in it after just one trip through checked baggage. Wish I had found this out before the return window expired.

Good: tall, high capacity. Bad: fabric is very rip/tear prone.
It has nice capacity. But the bottom fabric on the duffel part already has a hole all the way through to the inside after just one checked flight (not even the return flight), so the durability just isn’t there. Very disappointing.

Not going to last long
Delta destroyed my last bag by dragging it across the tarmac at Cleveland. Bought this as a replacement because I wasn't sure I was going to get any bags on time for my return flight if I bought on prime days.THIS IS NOT A BAG FOR FLYING!I REPEAT, THIS IS NOT A BAG FOR FLYING!My short trip from Cleveland back to NY has already started to shred the bottom of the bag. This is ideal for trains, buses and cars. I just need this to survive one more trip but there will be flight transfers. I'm bringing some gorilla tape just in case or maybe I shouldn't chance it.

Terrible design, awkward to lug around
UPDATE:After 4 long-haul and 4 short flights, this suitcase is being given away the second I get home. The lack of straps holding everything in place makes it feel like I’m lugging a dead body around. It’s heavy, awkward, and entirely not worth the money. I’d rate this zero stars if I could.Original review:I’ve used Travelpro suitcases for years and generally love them. This duffle, however, has some issues.First, it scrapes very easily. I‘ve taken it on five flights (2 long, 3 short) and it’s already very scraped up along the bottom. I suspect it’s not going to last long.Second, the weight isn’t ideal. It’s fairly heavy (which I knew before I bought it) so once you start adding clothes and gear, it adds up very quickly. For a duffle this size, that’s an issue.Third, and most importantly, there are no interior or exterior straps for the main packing area. Even if you use the included packing cubes, your stuff shifts the moment you stand the duffle up. It makes the duffle awkward to roll because it’s lumpy and uneven. This is a big design flaw, especially since the bottom compartment does have straps.Overall, I wouldn’t buy this duffle again. The price was great but I wish I’d paid more and gotten one with a better design.
