Nice Extra Length
I have a coat rack behind a door that gets bumped every time the door is opened completely. I bought this stopper to protect the door from the coat rack's hangers, which is does very well. The unusual length is why I bought this one. It's dark and unobtrusive, so it doesn't draw your eye. It fades in to the background fine.We used dry wall anchors to screw it into the wall just above the foot board. Unfortunately, one of the kids who visits promptly decided the door stop was for stepping on. That's a disadvantage for the length--it looks like a step to children. The stopper pulled out of the wall about halfway. We just pushed it back into the wall. There haven't been any more problems.I was really happy to find a door stopper with extra length. Finding it on Amazon was relatively easy and affordable. It's cheaper and easier than fixing indentations on my door from hitting the coat rack!
