Simple, effective, smaller than the electrical box traps, easier to keep from my dog
First winter in a historical house and I knew I would likely get a mouse. My first mouse trap was from this brand and it was one of those electric ones. The mice never seem to get caught in it. My dog kept bringing it out and trying to figure out what it was. I read reviews on a few other products and found that a lot of people seemed to have success with snap traps. I bought this because the jagged claws seemed like they wouldn't hurt my large dog if she got her snout or paw in it. Lucky for me, this trap is smaller than the electrical ones, so I was able to squeeze it under some furniture next to a wall where I was certain the mice were. Baited with peanut butter, confirmed the dog never even knew the trap was there, and called it a night. Literally woke up the next day to find a successful capture. I highly recommend.

Tomcat built a better mouse trap!
Every year once it starts getting cold, I get a few little uninvited guests in my house, and since my old traps were looking pretty haggard, I figured I'd give these a try. I was skeptical at first, because these don't seem as strong as the old school, wooden mouse traps, but let me tell you, they've dispatched with those uninvited guests pretty handily, and the no-touch design makes it easier to dispose of them, and they're easier to set than the old school traps, too. These are definitely my mouse traps of choice from now on. Give them a try if you haven't already. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised, but your little uninvited guests won't. They'll just be surprised - briefly.

Does not work. Mouse gets away!
This trap does not work. The mouse takes the bait, triggers the trap, but yet gets away! Either the snap is not fast enough or strong enough (maybe both), but the product fails to catch the mouse.

Nice trap
4.5 out of 5 stars As colder weather set in, a small but determined mouse attempted to make itself comfortable in my home—clearly viewing it as a seasonal rental rather than a private residence. Before the situation escalated to the point where it felt entitled to pantry access, stove privileges, or an Italian name, I decided to take action. This trap resolved the issue quickly and effectively. Setup was straightforward, placement was easy, and the mechanism worked exactly as intended. It provided a clean, humane, and decisive solution without the need for poisons or ongoing mess. The reason for the 4.5-star rating instead of a full 5 is simply that proper placement still matters; a bit of strategy is required to ensure success. Once positioned correctly, however, it performed flawlessly. Highly recommended for anyone looking to protect their home during colder months when pests start looking for an invitation inside—without turning the situation into a long-term roommate arrangement.

Easy to use.
I love these traps, they work well and can be emptied easily without needing to touch the body, just pick up the trap and squeeze it open and the deceased mouse falls out. Easier to set than the standard wood/wire traps. It makes a loud enough snap when it goes off so you know to check the trap and empty it right away. Additionally, the snap deters your cats and dogs from investigating the trap, plastic jaws will kill a mouse but will not damage your pet if it gets too curious. No need for bait, just lay the trap along a wall where the mice like to run and the built in attractant will bring them to the trap.

Works great no longevity
They work absolutely great but I can't get more than a month month and a half out of them wish they lasted longer

My go-to Mouse Traps. Easiest and most discreet traps for mice.
These have to be the most easiest to set and dispose mouse traps on the market. They last about 3-4 times before the click open won't work anymore but I wouldn't choose any other mouse traps. You push the ends together to open and it will click and stay open. I add peanut butter to the insert tab and gently set on the floor. 2 in the pack and I get about 4 mice each before having to throw them out.

Tomcat review
My cat Sara died a few weeks back after 22 years, it broke my heart she was my dear friend. I took for granted all those years that she kept the mice at bay, we almost never seen them and if we did it was dead in hours. After her death they started to come in like multiple times a day I would see them and I dont have the money to get a new cat just yet. After doing some research on what is best recommended I ran into this Tomcat product. I bought two and had it the next day without prime. The moment I started to cook that evening after placing my two new Tomcats down within a span of 1 hour I caught and killed 3 and it was easy to get rid of them and the bait I used was just peanut butter. After that ...... none seen, nice and peaceful. I love this product and it gave me my peace of mind back. I cannot recommend this enough.

First night, first mouse. Baited with peanut butter.

These do not work well for mice. Easily robbed and not always a humane kill when they do work. (The Tomcat rat trap version works very well by comparison.) These are, arguably, inhumane. Lucky I only bought two. Destined to collect dust on my shop workbench.

Spring seems too weak to be able to kill anything
