Highly recommended
The good:The manufacturing quality of this mirror is amazing. It's absolutely OEM - i.e., the quality that you would expect in a high-end vehicle. The flawlessness of the mirror glass itself, it's sensors, buttons & the auto-dimming function is outstanding. The compass & temp LEDs are clear, not-too-bright & in the right spot. The video screen is completely hidden until it turns on. The included mirror-mounting hardware and cable-routing / cable-hiding components are top notch. It also includes a temperature sensor at the end of a very long cable that you can route anywhere on the underside or front or back of the vehicle. Nice. Remote control is fine / quality. You can calibrate the temperature by 9 degrees, and you can calibrate the compass. You can turn the gridlines on or off. Did I mention this mirror is OEM quality?? It's really, really nice. Unit includes everything you need except for a camera. It was straight-forward to wire (I used a tap-a-fuse cable going into the radio fuse in the fuse box to have it function along with the radio). The bad:They should probably include a rear-view camera in this bundle / i.e., this, which is currently their top-end unit (They have to know that rear-view cameras are the number one reason people are buying this mirror, right? But it's not a big deal, it would just be nice to know that you have *everything* you need out of the box. Especially for first-time installers of this setup. But I digress. Let me continue...) The menu is only accessible via the wireless remote (so don't lose it!). The temperature gauge on mine is reading the outside air much higher than the actual ambient temperature (I have it mounted inside the engine compartment so I need to change locations to be sure it's not the engine temp that is causing this artificially high reading. But even when the car has been parked outside for hours, it still reads very high.) The compass is very hard to calibrate: You have to drive in a 5-meter circle (??) for 3 full rotations, at slower-than-walking-speed, to calibrate it. (My manual Jeep doesn't go that slow. Maybe I should push it! So I need to calibrate it again as it's not accurate. It seems to be off about 20-30 degrees from the actual direction I'm aiming in). The video has flicker (but I suspect this has to do with the camera and where I've routed the RCA cable in the car - i.e., near power and audio cables - more so than this has anything to do with the video screen itself. The menu on the video screen does NOT flicker - so again, it looks like this has to do with the video cable of the camera itself).Summary:I highly recommend this mirror! It was more expensive than most other units, but came with all the features I desired (and more) - and the quality was just outstanding! Competing units I researched had *terrible* grades on (F)akespot(dotcom) about their user reviews, so I was very fortunate to find this unit. If you are on the fence - go for it. It's a great unit!

Good Quality Product that Works as Advertised
This mirror does exactly what it says. It comes with a long connector that you can run down into your dashboard where you can connect your cameras and power. I like this because you can place your connectors somewhere easy to work on. The mirror is a good size. My favorite feature is that the screen isn't noticeable at all when it's turned off so this looks just like a normal mirror. The compass and temperature gauge both work well and actually mirror what my car says. I mainly wanted this so I can see my temperature when using Apple CarPlay. (Keep in mind that you will need to run a temperature sensor to the front of your car for the temperature function to work.) If you choose not to do this, you just don't plug in the sensor and the temperature won't be displayed on the mirror. Overall I am pleased with this purchase. It works as advertised and the screen offers good quality.

Worked great...for less than 30 days
I had this unit and the compatible rear view mirror installed by a qualified mechanic. It stopped working in less than 30 days. Hope fully the company will get back to me and come up with a solution. Especially since I paid $60 per hour labor to have it installed.

Good, but with one major flaw.
At first I gave this 5 stars, but after attempting to calibrate the compass, I had to come back and dock a couple stars. In order to get into calibration mode, you have to pull the 2nd video input RCA cable out of your dash, and find a video source to plug into it (and what the heck uses RCA video output anymore??). I guess I have to rig up an old DVD player and plug it into a power inverter just to calibrate a compass? Ridiculous. It's an inconvenience and a serious design flaw.Aside from that, I have no other complaints. It looks like a factory mirror, the LCD video quality and brightness is excellent, and it was relatively easy to install.

Helps me see what's behind me in many ways
I wanted to install a backup camera in my 2011 Ridgeline, but didn't want to replace the stereo. I purchased this mirror because it has auto-dimming and two inputs for the video (I wanted rear and front cameras, but that's another review).Brief review: The screen is bright and sharp for its size. It auto-adjusts to ambient light, but you can manually adjust it too. The compass is a hassle to calibrate accurately, but it works. The temperature sensor works just fine. (Either/Both can be disabled.) The mirror is solidly built, looks OEM, and is working flawlessly after 10,000 miles of use. Here's a more detailed review:Installation:- Although your windshield mount may work, I had to replace the Honda windshield mount with the one that came with the mirror. A local auto glass place did it for me in less than 10 minutes. The mirror mounted on it securely with no wiggles.- I added a separate add-a-circuit fuse to power the mirror to protect it. If a camera shorts, I don't want it to cause the rest of the mirror functions to fail.Setup:-The instructions are a bit thin, but if you've done other wiring jobs you can do this yourself. Otherwise get a friend or watch some videos from others who have installed things like this in your particular vehicle.Pros:-Visibility is as good as a regular mirror. During the daytime or nighttime, you can't see the screen when it is off.-Auto-dimming works rapidly and well. Love it. Also, settings are adjustable and you can easily turn it off on the mirror.-Two inputs mean a forward facing camera can be installed. The reverse camera comes on automatically. And, although you can turn the front camera off from the mirror, I installed a separate switch so it wouldn't come on each time I started the truck.-the adjustable guidelines are worth taking the time to setup accurately. I suggest using an empty parking lot with freshly painted lines.-install the temp sensor as far forward on your vehicle as possible, preferably low behind the front bumper. The included wiring is sufficiently long.-the compass is internal, so that installation is easy. It's calibration that is tricky (see below).Cons:-The backup gridlines are great, but have a "check surroundings..." warning sentence on the top of the screen. It would be fine if it turned off after a few seconds, but it doesn't and therefore blocks your view of objects in the top of the camera's vision. The only solution is to use the remote to turn off the guidelines completely. Not a good choice.-The compass is difficult to calibrate accurately. Sometimes it shows NW or SW when I know I'm going due W. You have to drive in circle VERY SLOWLY several times to calibrate it. Make sure you are far from power lines and buildings. Eventually, I got it calibrated and compensated. Seems to work well now.-The included remote is tiny, but it works. It has buttons that are for other models. The instructions are pathetically anemic. But, if you are patient and remember your middle school geometry you can adjust the backup guidelines. If you're comfortable taking your time, you can install this in a way that looks like it came from the factory. I like that my older truck has a backup camera for safety, and also front camera for off-road use. I recommend this whole heartedly.
