Fantastic, repeat purchase fir 20 years. It works.
The only foot file that actually works. Easy to use and removes deep cracks, rough skin on my heels. It was a miracle. Ive used for these for 20 years. Hard to find replacement blades without buying the whole system.

The gross-est, most awesome tool for soft feet.
This is my 2nd pedegg and I love them. They would great and are easy to use. These are basically cheese-graters for your feet. You scrape the cutting surface over those calloused sections of your feet (heel most likely) and you do it while the foot is dry. DO NOT do it while the foot is wet. It will not work and you may end up cutting away more skin that you wanted (ouch). As an added fun-factor, pour the dead-foot-skin-powder into your toilet water. It spreads out like a cloud in an entertaining way. My wife says it's gross. I get a kick out of it. Get it? Kick? Feet? Come on that's funny!

It works!
I have been suffering from toe calluses for a LONG time, using a pumice stone to โtryโ to keep them under control. Recently, because of a situation where I had to walk a ton, I ended up with a callus on the side and bottom of my left foot, and it became quite painful to walk! I had been soaking every night in Epsom salts, using therapeutic oils, etc.. and nothing seemed to work. Just used this for the first time, carefully and gently, and WOW I am amazed!! It took the calluses off almost completely. I didnโt want to be too aggressive and go to the skin, so weโll see how things go, but I was just walking in my socks around the house and NO pain. I have had to wear cushioned slippers up to this point, as my foot hurt so much from that one awful callus on the bottom/side. I know the cause is from how I walk, and Iโm working on that, plus being careful what shoes I wear, but this has made my feet look and feel better than they have in YEARS. I wish the foot doctors had recommended this product..

Works grossly well!
I could start with health and beauty benefits but let's be real. So there's this thing called "The Swiffer Effect." Regardless of how effective you think they are, there's this weird satisfaction when you get done with using one, look at the dusting cloth and see all the gross stuff it picked up. We look at the cloth we used to clean the windows with disgusted delight, watch mop water get dirty with satisfaction. The Pedi-Egg gives you the same kind of icky Swiffer satisfaction. The bottom catches the scraped off skin debris, and don't tell me you don't check it out after you're done, maybe even poking the stuff around. It's actually tempting to take too much skin off. Rein that impulse in. Mind you that dust is mostly made of dead skin cells among other things, and the cosmos is made from dust, cat fur and duct tape. Who knew how transcendental the Pedi-Egg actually was? If only Carl Sagan was still around... I suppose you could use this as a cheese grater. Keeping that in mind, the cheese grater part falls into the skin catching part pretty easily and if you can't fish it out, you'll have to turn the whole thing upside down to get it out. Not good if its got gunk in it. If you plan on saving that stuff for posterity, simply replacing the lid won't work. It'll flow right back out through the grater holes and will be a mess the next time you open it. Its easy to use and works well, but it does leave the groove like scrapes in the skin much like, well, grated cheese. These can be smoothed out with the included "sandpaper" things that stick right to the bottom of the base so you don't have to go searching for them. The thing feels comfortable in the hand but when used at a non-straight up angle, the captured skin cells can leak back out leaving a mess, so some foot contortions may be necessary. Again, the only real warning I have is that it can be tempting to take off too much in your zeal to fill the thing. Use light strokes, and don't get carried away. You can take more off later, you can't put it back when you've taken too much off and it hurts when you walk around, you doofus. If you walk or stand a lot, or just develop ridiculously thick callouses, this is a great product. If you regularly get professional foot massages, you don't need this, and none of us want to be friends with you anyway. ๐
