I bought the SwingRail to help improve swing mechanics, and it’s been very effective. It teaches the swing by feel, making it easy to understand the correct hand path without confusing instructions. The instant feedback is great—if the swing is off, the Velcro strap releases right away, helping build proper muscle memory without forcing movement. The instructional videos are helpful and easy to follow. It works best off a batting tee but also does well with front toss and controlled drills. This is a great tool for players ages 9 and up with some experience, and it’s a solid choice for improving consistency and fixing bad habits.

Got it on a Saturday worked with him got through the growing pains of getting used to it. Then Sunday got some real work in with it roughly around 50 reps. Monday had him do 10 dry slow reps and 15 fast reps before his game. Went 2-2 ,3 rbis when I tell this sped up the process completely easily the best tool I’ve ever bought to help my son with his swing.

I buy a lot of baseball training equipment. I am not sold on the benefits of the Swingrail for youth players. We coach an 11 year old travel team and are constantly looking for ways to build solid mechanics. "Casting" is a common problem and gets magnified as pitching gets faster. Simply put, if you have a big, long swing, it is really hard to catch up to a well thrown fastball. The theory of this is great and I have no doubt it can help with junior high, and high school players. It is simply not intuitive to use for an 11 year old. They spend too much time trying make sure the Velcro doesn't "break" vs. learning a new swing path. I will definitely keep this to use for when they are older though. For now, we will stick with a few more traditional methods to "get inside the ball" with your swing.

After one session my oldest son went from a contact hitter to a power hitter. He generally never hit to the outfield. But today at practice he was flying the ball to the outfield. I will also say he did start out quite upset because he thought it was “messing up his swing”. But after a couple swings with it he was doing so good. He is actually begging us for some BP now with the swing rail aid!

Funny story...My son is a small 11u player. He casts but just a little and not every swing, very nice swing but slightly out from his body. Bought this to correct that slight issue, and I can see this working to fix it over time but the funny part is when he takes a fast swing and casts the Velcro breaks and the strap slaps him right in his face!!! I fell off the bucket laughing the first time because that is instant feedback If I ever seen it!! He is not a fan yet but I did see a slight improvement after my amusement and had him do slow dry swings for about 10 min before we did tee work without the device. We will continue with the dry swing in slower motion before I subject him to the next beatdown. 2nd day update....after having my son read some.of these reviews and him seeing some detailed success stories he was willing to put in work and gave it another chance... so today before his team practice I had him do 50 dry swings slowly, he finished with about 15 dry fast swings and guess what.....He swung without triggering the feedback. He was excited. We went to practice and he hit so well the coach asked me if I had him do private batting lesson with a hitting coach. His teammates were making comments about how hard and far he was hitting the ball every swing. He has never put together that type of show so I am gonna give it a 5th star and highly recommend this to anyone from 60lbs and up. 3mo update....Well my son leads his team in BA, SLG, OBP, and contact %. He plays 11u travelball on a fairly good team and is the 2nd to smallest player out there. He is also playing up at 12u for some tournaments and is outhitting the bigger, older kids. And I give most of the credit to this product. It has fine tuned his swing to make all aspects better and more consistant. He uses this product everyday by himself in the cage off a tee and almost never triggers the device anymore. He will do Tee, soft toss and front toss with it on just to challenge himself. I can see how a kid that is rough with mechanics may quit before giving it a chance but try to convince them to stick it out because it will help if you allow enough time to build that muscle memory.

Works fantastic! Ive used it with some of the kids on my team and its helped out tons. If you've got a kid who reaches for the ball this nifty tool really helps createba close tight swing bringing much more power

Poor quality.. the swing rail we received looks nothing like the videos. Actually appears to be thinner strap. All the videos have square loops to go through to secure to arm. Ours has D- loops and we have tried every scenario and can't come up with a good way to secure to arm and bat Loop to arm strap. Seems like a good swing training idea but product needs to be designed better. Very disappointing

Was getting desperate, so I tried the Swing rail . Can’t believe the difference in such a short time. I’m not a baseball guy, so I can’t speak to if it will help everyone, but the difference is clear with my 12 YO.

Nice way to teach kids how to swing But I removed a star because I feel it is expensive

Kids won’t use it because it’s too complicated to do independently. Over priced for a strap and a piece of plastic. Had to watch videos to understand what to do and how to set it up as instructions in the box aren’t helpful.
