I absolutely love this product, it is so convenient, easy to use and a good value for my money. I just put it in the microwave for 2mins and it stays hot for at least 20mins. Great performance, the odor is not that bad and it’s cute and small.

I have natural, afro textured hair that is about 2 inches past my shoulders when straightened. I need to deep condition regularly to gain/maintain length, so this came in handy because I don't always want to sit under the dryer. The first time I used the cap I was disappointed because it was waaaaaaay too small. If I had a small afro or hair that was no longer than a few inches then it would have been no big deal. But if you have thick, longer natural hair, you will find this cap to be a bit snug. I was able to make it work. I put my hair into 4 giant twists and pinned each twist to my head. Then I added a shower cap to pin my hair down in place. I then add the warmed, conditioning cap on top of the shower cap. Thank goodness I don't have a very big head because it may have been an issue. It actually worked out pretty nicely because the shower cap also helps my hair hold the heat generated by the warmed-up cap. Overall, it does the job and stays warm for quite some time. And even though the cap may cool off after 20-30 minutes, your hair stays warm underneath. I didn't find the need the reheat at all. I typically just leave it on for 45 minutes and go about my business around the house. Again, the shower cap hack also helps retain heat. I typically warm mine up for longer than suggested, but I do 30 second intervals to keep from overheating. It also seems to heat unevenly, even though my microwave has a turntable, but that wasn't a big deal. My biggest complaint and the reason for docking a star was the size. Nevertheless, this has become a staple for my wash day routine. I would recommend it.

It's ugly, but we don't have to wear it for long, just enough to provide a little heat for our treatments. It's okay. It gets the job done, and I don't feel the need to buy another one until this one stops working. I haven't used it often, this is about the third time. I heat it in the microwave for 30 seconds, flip it over, heat it for another 30 seconds. Put it on, wasn't too hot or too cool. Then when it started to cool off at around 10 minutes I put it back in the microwave again for another 30 seconds to warm it back up again. I did a 15 minute treatment and that's how I got it done. Works fine, my hair is nice and soft right now. All in all pretty good. I don't regret buying it though I am sure there are better out there.

I was debating on buying a tall hair dryer but saw this because I really didn't want to be confined to a chair just to do a deep condition. This came in handy and I love it. I can just pop it on and go. Just wish it was a little bit bigger ( I have locs). So I had to pin my hair up. Hopefully the company can make a bigger size that I can buy. Other than that, love it and it felt so good on my hair. Would order again.

I love this cap! The low/gentle heat works well for my low porosity hair by helping it absorb water better and it feels more moisturized and soft! It does weigh a little more than a bonnet, but still feels very comfortable on my head. 10/10 would recommend!

They need to provide the cap measurement in the description and the fact that the cap has no stretch because of the way the elastic is attached. The photo is deceiving because the elastic gives the impression that the cap stretches like a shower cap when it doesn't. The elastic was attached to the cap that has a fixed opening. Since the opening has no give, the elastic does not stretch to help the cap fit around a larger head, it is just a trim that helps keep the heat in. In order to wear this cap, I would have to jam my hair in through the small opening, and that pushing and pulling is not good for the hair and may cause it to break. I am not sure I could get all my hair in and wear the cap properly because I stopped trying when I realized how small and tight the cap opening is. I am attaching a photo close-up of the elastic in the Tiara cap, and a photo of a different cap that appears to have the elastic attached in a way that the cap opening stretches. I think I will buy that one instead. This cap is also very heavy; I didn't realize it was stuffed with gel. I now see gel is the 10th word in the header, it is not in the description and I did not read the whole header before ordering.

MINE LITE ON FIRE IN THE MICROWAVE! And NO I didn't set it to a ridiculous time. Under 1 minute.

You simply microwave it for 1-2 mins then it's good to go. It's easy to use, it's wireless so that you can move around with it, and it makes your hair healthier and better. Happy with it overall.
