I recently purchased these Suunto watch bands, and I must say, they are the perfect accessory for any occasion! Whether you're hiking a mountain or running to the grocery store, these bands will keep your Suunto watch looking stylish and secure. But that's not all! These watch bands are also great for unexpected situations. For example, I was once stranded in the wilderness with nothing but my Suunto watch and these bands. I used the bands to build a shelter, start a fire, and even catch my dinner. Okay, I may be exaggerating a bit, but these watch bands are seriously durable and versatile. And let's not forget about the fashion statement these bands make. I've received compliments from everyone, including my grandma and my cat. They come in a variety of colors, so you can match them with any outfit or mood. I even wear them to formal events, and people always ask me where I got my fancy wristband. Overall, I highly recommend these Suunto watch bands to anyone looking for a functional and fashionable accessory. This is a nice looking watch band but I have to fuss with it several times a day. The 'keepers' which hold the end of the watchband down while it is on my wrist are continually sliding off leaving the band to stick out - looks bad catches on everything. I have gone through several of these bands and they just do not last - estimating about one year. I have ordered a metal band that should eliminate the problem.

If you're reading this, you probably own a Suunto Core watch, and your original strap is already cracked, leaving your costly watch to gather dust in a drawer or box somewhere. Sure, we all expect watch straps to break or wear out, they are meant to be a replaceable item. If you can get more than a year out of a new Core strap, you're in pretty good shape. It's just a shame that Suunto charges as much as they do for replacement OEM watch straps -- by the time you buy a few, you could have practically bought a brand new watch. The other reviewers here are spot-on; this aftermarket replacement strap is slightly different than what shipped with your Suunto. As in, the buckle is a similar design, but not quite exact. And that's really where the differences seem to end. You could easily mistake this for an original band, and for all we know, these come out of the same exact factory in China. You have the same ridged straps, the same two excess strap retainers, and this replacement kit even comes with two mini screwdrivers and a set of screws for each side -- what a nice touch. I was a little apprehensive buying an aftermarket strap, but this was totally worth it, and is an exact fit. Your watch deserves to be with you on new adventures! (If anything changes long-term, I'll come back and update this review...)

Awesome replacement for my Suunto core watch. The tools are a great addition to the package. I used the original pins as they work fine. Keep the others as extra if ever needed. Band feels smooth to the touch and comfortable fit. Definitely would purchase again.

Very nice replacement watch band for my Suunto Core. I had to put one screwdriver in a vice to hold it steady while i loosened the other side. This made it somewhat easier without stabbing myself when one slips (It's a Suunto thing using two screws). You could get a second person to hold a screwdriver with pliers flat on a table while you go at the other screw. Mine were extremely tight. I re-used my band pins and kept the new ones for spares. All went OK.
