These types of reusable bags are made of PEVA which is *not* silicone; PEVA is not a type of silicone, silicone is not a type of PEVA. PEVA is not as heat tolerant, and the instructions even say these bags shouldn't be used for sous vide, which happens around 120-180F (below boiling, but hot), much lower than silicone can tolerate. I can't speak for the seller, but my guess this listing mentions "silicone" as some kind of search engine optimization since people, like myself, searched for "silicone reusable food bag" and at first assumed these items are made of silicone.

Has anyone figured out a dishwasher accessory that can be used to help these stand upright in the dishwasher?
