Rocky Mountain Goods:Okay, first of all let's talk about how old I am. I'm a senior. I mean really senior-75. I went to a big box store and purchased some hose hangers that were plastic. Well, Texas weather is not the most predictable. In winter, it can be 80 degrees one day and 20 degrees the next. The plastic hangers I purchased crashed the first year. However, it's hard to find metal hangers down here. Thanks to Amazon and y'all I found the metal product I originally wanted They are hanging around in my one acre garden. Have you heard everything is big in Texas? Well the metal angers are doing just great and I'm sure will out live me. Thanks for such a good product.Ms. Hardin

I bought this item to take care of issue of hose management brought to my attention by my wife. It was a surprise purchase intended to blind her with my acumen and thrift. While the product does all it advertises and cannot be found for lesser amount of gold she was less than impressed and wanted something with a chicken motif. I appreciate your product and it proudly resides on my side of the yard (out of her sight) and will serve me well. Sincerely Schooled in Lancaster

I can't review the "rust proof" claim as they are installed inside my garage for storage of spare hoses. They are coated evenly with a green paint or enamel, and I did not see any gaps or bare metal exposed.They are heavy gauge metal, enough that hanging a 100' hose is no issue (but make sure your wall can tolerate the load). Wall mounting into wood is just two screws, so "easy" is a fair description. If you plan to install on a brick wall you will need to drill holes, install screw inserts, etc. But this is no more than installing anything else on a brick wall; I guess "easy" is all relative.

I meant to return this hose hanger back in May 2019 when I received it. After I unpackaged it I quickly realized it was bent and was made of thin/flimsy material. That being said, it didn’t fail because it came damaged. It failed because of its construction.Fast forward 3 months and you can clearly see this hose hanger is junk. DO NOT PURCHASE! Purchase something like the last picture I posted for less than $6 and replace it every year or two, the end.

This is a piece of molded aluminum foil. Bent badly in the box. Holds maybe 50 feet of hose and even then not very well. Bends extremely easily. Waste of hard earned money. Do not recommend at all. Then after writing this it broke and bend into a limp noodle.

This is not as sturdy as my older one. One of these bent when hanging 100' of heavy duty hose. Will hold 50' of heavy duty rubber hose but not 2-50' hoses.

I had hoped this metal hanger would be made of sturdier metal than what I had, but it turns out this hanger sags until the weight of my 5/8" 100 feet hose. I don't expect it to last very long, because I have to keep bending it back up since it tends to sag.

Purchased this item 3 months ago. Installation was easy. The necessary screws for installation were missing; however, I found replacement screws in my toolbox. I screwed this item into a tree trunk in my backyard. I’ve hung two hoses on the item. Thus far it has held up. It may seem flimsy and flexible; however, it’s malleability helps keep the hoses in place and prevents the screws from ripping out of the trunk. Other than a brief moment of frustration, caused by the missing installation screws, I am pleased with this item.
