It took me a while to find this stand, but I am very happy that I did. My home recording studio is small and full of outboard recording hardware. Therefore, space is limited. Having these two big drum machines laying flat was taking up a lot of valuable real estate. I wasn’t looking for a regular keyboard stand that sits on the floor, I needed a more compact, two-tier stand that would fit on top of my effects cabinet. This item perfectly matched the idea I had in my head for a table top stand. Needless to say, I was thrilled to find it and made the purchase immediately. Build quality is very good. It is sturdy and meets my personal standards. As you can see in the picture I attached, I am the curator of some very old and fragile music equipment, so I wouldn’t chance the possibility of a cheap stand collapsing and causing damage. Due to the way this stand assembles, it requires that four screws (2 on each side) be be used in order to prevent the top tier from falling forward. Because of this, the stand didn’t give me quite enough room to comfortably use the drum machine on the bottom tier. To solve this problem, I just ran to a local hardware store and bought a couple more of the same size screws that arrived with the stand. This allowed me to lower the middle platform while still keeping the top tier at maximum height. Very happy with things so far! If you’re a musician, you won’t regret buying this in order to save some room. Even though I used it for my drum machines, this would easily work to hold up many types of hardware and will save some space.

This stand I use at work. At its maximum height. To hold my laptop at a perfect height. This stand is very stable, and solid. As simple as the design, it works, and works well. The angle is perfect. I have gotten quite a few comments of how good it looks, and how it's very solid. I'm an auto mechanic, so the environment I have it in is not very friendly. This is simultaneously irritating and amazing. I wanted a multi-tier stand for some smaller synths so that I could have them nearby and not create a giant mess of cable spaghetti, and this fit the bill pretty well. The metal isn't as soft as I was expecting it to be, and the middle shelf is a huge help - though, like some others, I wish it was just a tiny bit longer. The pads on the top shelf and bottom feet are a massive help as well. LOOK AT THE PHOTOS BEFORE YOU ASSEMBLE. Seriously. If I had just looked at the photo instead of trusting that I could wing it, the thing would have been done far sooner. It is still a bit of a pain to put together, but there will be at least a little less of you asking "Am I even doing this right?" followed by loud expletives. I also put the stabilizer-rod-whatchamacallits pretty close together so that they go through both the feet and the top shelf just to make sure it doesn't fall. Once it is assembled, however, it's perfect (for me at least). I can fit a smaller key synth on top, and a desktop unit like a Volca or my TD-3 in the middle - though the TD-3 sits at an angle, but that actually works out for me. I haven't weight tested the thing with anything much heavier, but it'll hold my big dumb laptop as well. I wish that the middle shelf was just a tiny bit longer, and that there was more space between the middle shelf and top shelf. I'll update this if I manage to gain a bit more space through reassembly, but it isn't as though it's unusable... just verging on cramped. However, compared to the hackjob DIY things I'd made previously, this does work remarkably well, and I'm glad I ended up with it.

First let me say that I bought this stand for use on top of a desk - I don't DJ and won't be taking it on the road. With that said, I consider myself very handy and it still took me about 10 minutes to set the stand up. If you plan on taking this with you to events, keep that extra set-up time in mind. There is very little strength in the way this stand is designed, so while it holds my laptop securely I would not want to move it around a lot when it is assembled as you risk torquing or bending the long thin cross braces. So if you don't mind extra time to set up and disassemble the stand before and after shows then this stand will work well for you. Also, don't count on the "shelf" to hold much more than a few CDs, maybe a set of headphones. I dropped my smartphone on it from about an inch above and it tilted down. The way the shelf anchors to the legs simply provides no support except the friction of the leg pressing against the side of the shelf. As an inexpensive laptop stand to sit permanently on a desk I would have given this product a 4-5 star rating, but as a DJ stand for anything other than a studio I have to give it 3 stars.

I bought this stand so that I could use my laptop in conjunction with a DJ controller and have found myself using it even when not mixing as it holds my computer up at an ideal height when sitting at my desk. The stand is easy to assemble, which is good because it didn't come with instructions, and the construction is sturdy enough to hold a 17" Alienware laptop. Update 2020.12.05: It has been almost five years since I bought this stand and it's still rock solid sturdy with absolutely zero wobble while holding up the exact same 17" Alienware laptop the entire time. It's been such a reliable fixture on my desk that I hadn't even thought about it until now.

Perfetc for my Laptop!

I am very pleased with this stand. I am using it for Zoom and Skype meetings usng my 10" laptop. The screen size is 10" and the width is 12" and it overhangs the smallest width setting of the stand by 1" on each side. I use the middle platform to hold my external drives. It was easy to assemble and no instructions are provided in or on the box. The only instructions are videos in the Amazon product ad. I gave the stand four stars for assembly because adjusting the height requires complete dissassembly.

Even though I have more cons than pros for this unit, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. The cons are small enough issues to not cause me any regret in purchasing this stand. Pros: *Well built *Inexpensive and cost much less than most other stands. *Has extra shelf Cons: *The rubber stoppers on the front are just a bit too short to be functional in keeping the laptop from slipping, as my HP is slightly curved upward on the bottom front. I would worry about this in a live setting where there are lots of vibrations, and may have to use tape or some other method to heighten the stoppers. I am also waiting for a laptop cooler to arrive, and an worried this will be an even bigger problem after that. Wouldn't be a problem with thinner laptops. *The shelf on the bottom is much smaller than it looks in the photos, and technically once this thing is together, the shelf is no longer "adjustable". You would have to shorten the entire stand horizontally, and that would cause it to be too small for my 17.3" laptop. This would also require almost completely disassembling the unit to make the adjustment. Not a huge deal as I don't see reason to shorten the stand, but to advertise as "adjustable" is a little misleading. *As other reviews have mentioned, this does not come with instructions, BUT the instructions are included right in the photos of the stand on Amazon. Pay attention people. *I could have used a third hand when putting this together. It was a little difficult to hold the pieces together but it wasn't rocket science. I am definitely happy with this purchase.

Très déçu du produit aucune notice de montage en j'ai mis 2 h à le monter et me rendre compte que le produit supporte un pc certes mais l'étage inférieur ne sert strictement à rien puisque les rajout de barre de fixation ne tienne pas et du coup achat inutile moi je voulais l'utiliser avec ma platine dj pour l'étage inférieur et le pc pour l'étage supérieur mais ce n'est pas possible !!!

Brilliant quality, brilliant customer service. Kept me up to date with my order and delivery which actually came sooner than stated which was a bonus. I was a bit worried about the sturdiness of it but it's strong as nails. It's easy to assemble you don't even need instructions. I definitely recommend this to anyone.

Ottimo il materiale e la funzionalità. Ok non sarà un oggetto di design, ma lo preferisco ad altri che lo sono. Lascia il lato inferiore notebook completamente esposto e quindi risce a dissipare molto bene. Il piccolo ripiano inferiore può risultare molto comodo.
