This is a great product, it comes in what on the surface of it is far too small a box (see pic) but the ingenious way it is designed means what you expect to be a bind to assemble is in fact very easy and well thought out. Assembly after a bit of mental calculation is very easy and neat. The component parts are superbly made (probably China - but look more like German engineering). Once up and operating it is great to use and very stable on the floor, the remote is far more use than I thought it would be. It has a very broad range of functions but I would question if that many are really needed. Some pictures attached from the assembly, the cable comes pre-threaded through the tubular sections which looks worse than it is, it goes together very easily and quickly. Only negative is the typical atrociousattempt by the makers to translate from their language to English (see pic) - why don't they employ English people to do that??? One thing that should be stated in the instructions is that if you have a power cut, even for milliseconds the lamp defaults to FULL BEAM LIGHT. Fine if you are in but i was away for a couple of days and whilst I was away I had a power cut about 4 hours after I left the house so the lamp was FULL on for about 36 hours!

Easy to assemble. Tucks into a corner. Good reach over working area. Daylight setting is a bonus. Going to purchase another one.

Got this at a substantial discount so it was a great deal. The level of adjustment of the brightness to suit crafting, reading, gaming etc is impressive & it can be all be controlled remotely. The only reason I’ve knocked off one star is that the lamp will only be of use as long as the led lights last as they cannot be replaced. Otherwise it’s almost perfect. Another 6 inches in height would have been the icing on the cake. The base is weighty & adequate enough to keep the lamp stable.

I have been so impressed with this LED standard lamp that I have bought 3 of them !Arrived well packed as a kit that screws together with steel tube stem so it’s rigid and lightweight . Base is suitably heavy to provide support and the white minimal design blends in and is unobtrusive.The excellent lamp is supplied with a remote control that is simple to operate and effective. If you don’t wish to use remote the controller built into the stand works fine.In short this a very good light that I specifically purchased for reading and the LED source can be set for whatever activity you wish .Highly recommended

Great product - the different modes work well - as a writer I need a lower background light for screen work while the white reading light is perfect for editing scripts. Customer service was proactive when the original lamp dimmed and Lastar have shipped a new one! Highly recommended.

All seems good with this . Goes really bright and dims right down . Seems well made and fully adjustable. Just the job

Good quality. Lots of variations in lighting options. Especially like the warm light illumination. The remote control is a nice touch with it's easily one touch settings. The controls are easy to use and love the fact it remembers the last setting. Looks really smart and well made. Midrange on pricing but I think it's great value.

Brought as a replacement for my previous reading light and this one is far superior. Several settings for different types of light and brightness and it has a remote control. I tend to use the touch controls which are on the light rather than the remote.Very easy to put together, base is reasonably stable and it looks stylish. Highly recommend

I can't express how amazing this lamp is. The base is heavy and holds well. The neck being flexible allows you to use this lamp in many places and situations. The lighting modes are spot on and so practical.I've used it straight up to light up a room we were working in...much better than an unsteady flood light or flashlights.It's at the desk mostly to get work done or reading.The nice thing is to also leave it on at yellow , low intensity which gives such a smooth, relaxed vibe in the room.The remote has all the options you require to change lighting types and intensities. It also has a timer....so why not relax and fall asleep on the couch without worrying about lights staying on? We barely use the room lights anymore in the living rm/office anymore. This one does the job.We will deffinately be buying one for the basement and leaving the remote in the staircase so we don't have to turn on the old lights and we can turn it on and off from there.I think I will even order one for my Mother...Anywyas, this would make a great gift for any occasion or person.

I bought 2 of these LED lamps, which shipped quickly and were extremely well packed. Assembly is easy. They are sturdy, and can be angled different ways. I use one behind my recliner chair in the living room, where I read and do needlework. They have multiple light brightness as well as light “hue” choices. The 2nd light is in the far corner of my living room and I use it to brighten that area, also as a low light left on when I am not home. This 2nd light will move into my guest room for guests during their stay so they have light on the side of the bed where I cannot put a 2nd nightstand. This solves the problem, because it takes up relatively no space at all! Would purchase again.
