Looks great not so sure on the sound
I have a Topping L30II headphone amp/pre amp and was very satisfied with the quality and sound from this unit. I heard a lot of hype with these Ifi dacs and thought I would give it a try now the noise floor is incredible and the unit feels top quality but I'm finding the S's are extremely pronounced like a bad record stylus, which I did not have with Topping and the set up is exactly the same. The only difference is the Ifi instead of the Topping. Now maybe it needs burn in time and may come better but I have to say the topping L30II sounded great straight out of the box. I'll give an update on wether it does improve or not.27/11/23. Yes I can confirm that it has improved with burn in time.
