Citrus Magic Pet Solid Air Fresheners, Fresh Citrus, 20 Ounce

I initially bought one of these to test how it would work in a small utility closet that contains a water heater, and an automatic litter box. (That should give an idea on size of the area!) Well, fairly soon after receiving it, I added it to a subscribe and save order! The scent isn't overpowering in such a small area, but it also completely covers the smell of the litter box. If I recall, I have this on a 2 month delivery cycle, and it works fairly well for that duration.

I love these, I have them in the closet, under the sink, in the bottom of the garbage cans under the bags, and especially next to the cat litter. It works amazingly to pull nasty odors away, the lemon scent might seem strong when you first open it, but disappears in a time, leaving a slight fresh scent. In some locations I leave half the paper covering. I am thrilled with how long they last, the one in an open space of course is spent quicker, but in the closed by the shoes and under the sink easily lasts 2 + months. These work anywhere you have odd odors, musty smells.

The bottom line is that this eliminates about 70% of odors in about a 5 ft. radius for approx 6 weeks wherever I place it. To get into more details- I have used it next to a cat litter box- 1 cat, small apartment, changing litter daily. as well as a diaper pail, in a small enclosed linen closet. The odor eliminator (purchased 2) worked very well in both locations. Isolating the odor to the pail itself, and to the litter box. I knocked off one star- for as the weeks passed, the odor started to linger around the box and pail, creating somewhat of an aura. This Product also seems to have a very strong smell- for the first 36-48 hours- which dies off quickly. This can be good or bad- depending on your needs. If your the type of person who is hypersensitive to artificial smells, and prefers to smell "nothing" not good, not bad- just nothing- this may not be the product for you- at least not in the first 48 hours. After that point, the smell greatly decreased, and it was much easier to just forget about the areas in question... While this is definitely not a fix all solution.- It does not take care of the underlying cause- you'll still have to maintain things. or take care of the odor that your trying to cover (or rather eliminate.. as this actually neutralizes more than anything) This is a good tool in the arsenal.. especially in small spacer, or open spaces.

This product definitely helps with odors, but it mostly seems to do that by overpowering them with its own REALLY STRONG SMELL.

I have owned a litter robot 3 for a couple of years now, and I’ve noticed the smell of used litter sometimes seeps out when the machine does a cleaning cycle because the opening to the bottom of the collection area is exposed to open air for about 30 seconds. That’s enough to make room smell bad! Now I’ve thought about getting an odor absorbing thing but the spray didn’t work. This on the other hand is absolutely incredible. I’m shocked! Genuinely. It’s been in the bottom of the collection tray for a few days now and the smell is gone. Now when the machine does a cleaning cycle I smell a small amount of citrus if I’m not to far away. Really seems to be doing well but time will tell if it last the advertised 45 days. I decided to set auto ship for once a month since it’s so affordable.

Be aware that this has a very strong odor which I found noxious. It has a chemical type smell, I don’t even want to use it in my trash bin. Unfortunately I missed the return window by 5 days. I have been pleased with other Citrus Magic products in the past.

I use these under my seat in my car. Best air freshener ever and fits well even under seats with minimal room not an overwhelmingly strong smell either. They last a few months too.

Came all crumbled up. Didnt do much for smell. I think it was all dried up.

O love all Citrus Magic products, I found them in a health food shop about 15 years ago, the orange room spray, which once used you can never go back, powerful & natural, just like a big bucket of fruit in the room, covers odours amazingly as well. I'm using this one with an odour issue in my car and it seems to be working really well, car just smells fresh, not overpowering and it's huge, so should last for ages.

Not a very strong smell, cant say it has helped a great deal. Wont buy another one

I have wasted money in the past on air fresheners that just don't do what they claim. This one even though it is expensive, lasts for ages and does exactly what I hoped it would do. No more wet doggy smell.
