Itty bitty bit of gorgeous
I'm estimating that this is comparable to #80 cotton. The snowflake image shoes a size comparison between this and the same snowflake in #20. The thread frays like crazy, but still works beautifully with a #8 tatted needle. Just take a deep breath and be patient - you *will* be able to get it through the eye. Once threaded, I had no problems with the thread kinking and I had to work hard to get it into a loose tangle.

The colors aren’t as they seem.
I bought this for the red which isn’t red in the slightest. It’s like a coppery brown color and not at all red. Really disappointed. I can’t speak to the quality of the thread since I didn’t use it.

Metallic thread
This is okay for tatting. Came quickly. Right price. Not the easiest to tat with. I might try crocheting some things with it. I’m a beginner tatter.

Fine and strong
Very good fine tatting thread. Smooth and strong and final product is firm. Please be advised this thread is not for beginners, it is very fine, compares size 70 or 80.

Better than most metallic thread
Thankfully this thread arrived very quickly, but I wish now that I had ordered 2 packages. As it is good enough for my needs, but originally I did not have high hopes — I don’t for metallic threads. I got this metallic thread mainly for hand use “shuttle tatting” — it’s a wee bit on the thin side for my tatting preference & doubling-it (twisting 2 threads together to make it twice as thick) for each knot, is not an option for my projects, because it is metallic & won’t ‘moosh’ together well with itself. This behaves as most metallic thread do, in my experience — stiff to the hand & a wee bit awkward to maneuver … BUT this one is better than other brands that I’ve tried. IMO, it seems to simply be the typical nature of shiny ‘metallic’ threads. (just not a soft hand) I feel sure this thread is better for sewing projects than tatting & I realize that I’m not using it for it’s typical intended use. I have not tried it in my sewing machine, but it seems it would be fine & not unravel too bad. Therefore it’s good & the seller did great job.
