Item arrive perfect. It did require a little bit of rinsing before using.

These pebbles were a we-bit smaller than the gravel in my tank, but I think that’s a good thing. I used it to cover the intake tube on the bottom of my chloramine tank, they hold activated carbon(GAC) which has some VERY fine particulate cabin. It’s down stream from the softener tank, these tanks scrub the chlorine from the system after the water leaves the tank that the chlorine is mixed in (after being softened.) I have a dual tank system so this was a trial run to see if I want to rebed the other chloramine tank and also my softer tanks Would recomend

I use this product to re-bed my softener. There is plenty of gravel to cover your riser tube. It was in a burlap bag very well packed and it was in a box. I would recommend this product for anyone who has to do a re-bed on their softener.

Overpriced but it worked well in the water softener added this first then water to just cover the top by a couple of inches and then added the resin beads to the water softener the water helped resin beads not get intermixed with the gravel the gravel's your filter for the resin beads you don't want beads in your system or your toilets will start running shower head will get weak and your water heater filter will plug up and not work

Just what I needed for a softener recharge component. FYI buy a funnel for water softener filling, they are cheap and help the process.
