Iwatani Portable Gas Grill BBQ Stove ABURIYA2 CB-ABR-2, Black

This is by far the best portable grill I have ever had so far, very easy to use, lights up so easily with one click, lightweight, and does get really hot pretty quickly, the heat covers 95% of the grill which is great even compared to the big commercial gas grills. Despite its size, it can easily fit 2 large 14oz steaks. Very easy to clean since the top can be detached and the bottom pan comes out.. aesthetically it looks so japanese/gorgeous especially with the mesh grill. I just wish it came with a carrying bag. And maybe a griddle pan for cooking like eggs.

The media could not be loaded. Awesome grill I was stationed in Japan for two years so I love Japanese Yakiniku. I’ve made Yakitori on it as well. Definitely only use outside. I also purchased that $30 butane to propane adapter that one review mentioned and it works! ( can’t open propane bottle too much or it pops off) I line the whole unit with aluminum foil to help with cleaning! I used 7” skewers but would recommend 8” Adapter is CampingMoon propane to butane adapter built in regulator with extended hose 16oz/1lb small propane tank to camping butane stove Z59-CB (high quality and good to have options, again don’t open the switch all the way on the propane bottle or it disconnects because of pressure I’m assuming) pops off.Also while the quality is great I don’t recommend using too much force as it is easy to bend!

Works great and consumes little cooks fast and nice. It says it doesn’t create smoke well it does when grease falls from the meat it does create fire and smoke. True to its size

Needed a good little grill for camping and this is a good solution. Definitely great for grilling meats and veggies and the fact it takes small butane can help with not taking up a bunch of space. Very satisfied with this purchase

Super easy to use!! We love it!!

I've had a friend who had 20% of his body burnt from propane explosion from a grill that did not fully ignite. This product is doing the exact same thing. Its just igniting the first few holes on the burner and the rest just leaking gas out. I tried all the trouble shooting and I'm left a bunch of the holes never igniting even after it being on for minutes. I wouldn't be comfortable recommending this for anyone.

It is easy to use and easy to clean. You can buy extra grill inserts to cycle through when cooking.I would not use this indoors unless you have a strong vent system. It can get very smokey especially if anything you are cooking has a sauce or fatty.As others have mentioned, the heat distribution is uneven. I have even set up wind guards but still get cold spots where the food doesn’t really cook. Be prepared to spend a good amount of time waiting for your food to char/brown if that is what you are aiming for.Additionally, as with these types of butane stoves, they lose pressure as the fuel can starts to get cold with use.My honest opinion, you are better off getting the Iwatani circular yakitori grill assembly and use that on top of a higher performing Iwatani stove. Cooks faster in my experience. Make sure the stove has raised sides around the burner to act as wind guards like the Iwatani Tough Maru stove. (The Maru Jr is probably too small.) Added benefit is that you now have a portable stove to cook outdoors with too.

So I live in an apartment and I don't feel like hauling things to and from the pool to use their grills. This little thing is perfect for grilling indoors in an apartment. Not gunna lie, still recommend you open a window and turn on your kitchen vent while cooking, but its totaply worth it in order to get that nice convient grill without setting off the smoke alarms. Grills pretty well and heats up within a reasonable amount of time.
