For a portable unit? It is great. Clean the car. Spot cleaning in the house. Sick dirt out of my postholes?? LOL Yes postholes. I was pouring concrete. Cleared the bottom out of loose dirt. It is a Wet n Dry vac, but the hose is extremely short. Must bring unit right up to your job. 1-1/4" dia. hose, I bought an extension tube(s) to give me a lil length. Works great on cleaning the carpets in the car....but again. Short hose outs it right on top of the cleaning job. U have a 2-1/2" Craftsman electric wet n dry vac. But it's a pain to use sometimes. This unit alleviated those dreaded chore of vacuuming up the car! Reccomend using the higher amp batteries! Or have a spare handy? Continuous usage will go thru a rechargeable battery. Highly reccomend this portable unit. Does not have a carrying strap. Base of unit us the debris storage. Both water/liquids or debrisFilter cleans rather easily by removing an tapping it over a trash bin. U bought replaces as well. Comes off w/ a 1/4 turn twist!

Worked ok but hose broke after 3 uses

Vacuum itself is great, but description clearly indicates that battery is included: it wasn't. Amazon directed me to contact manufacturer to request missing part and Milwaukee did not respond to either email or phone voicemail.

The hand vac is as advertised and meets my expectations. The best feature is a stronger-than-expected sucking power. I also like that is is light, portable and all the attachments and hose have compartments inside the unit. The only minor downside is that the full power life on a regular-sized 18v lithium-ion battery is rather short and I always have 2 batteries on hand if I have a bigger job. Overall, an excellent addition to my tools and I really like I don't have to tote an electrical extension cord with me for using this tool.
