Exactly what I needed! PERFECT!
I bought a different color chart book originally but it didn’t have enough of these charts. This one is all the same from the first page to the last page- I absolutely love it. Super easy, and aside from the date box which I don’t really get, it’s perfect!

Perfect Place to Keep Track of All Your Colors
I do adult coloring pretty much every day. It is my number one hobby. This product came up on my Amazon, and I eventually bought it. I think it is an incredible value for the price. It is just a book full of pages with 24 big empty squares and several lines next to each square. It also has space for a title or what set of coloring supplies the page contains and also the date. I am a little confused as to why there is a space for the date. I'm not sure why you would need to know the date in this instance. Maybe colors change or fade over time? Who knows. I am very happy with this book. The only problem I can see so far is for coloring supplies where differentiating the actual markers from each other is impossible without actually labelling the markers themselves, like Crayola or Rose Art super tips. In the introduction of the book, she (?) tells you to put a sheet behind the page you are using to prevent bleed-through, so I have been doing that. I don't think the pages are especially thin. They seem comparable to Creative Haven coloring book paper. It's a pretty thick book, but you still might need more than one if you have a large coloring media collection. I got the XL edition based on reviews. It is the size of your standard coloring book. The squares are pretty big, so I haven't been filling them completely. I think the idea is that you could blend colors within the square of press hard and soft, like for colored pencils. Very happy with this book.

Great for swatching but….
Was able to swatch a lot of colors, only wish paper was more of a media type.

Has lots of uses for colorists
I bought this to record color combinations for my colored pencil work. It's an ample sized book with more pages than I'll ever use, which is a good thing! I record color schemes in part of the book, blending charts in another part. Each page has many charts, so the color combinations can be arranged by color family, items to be colored (leaves/flowers/parrots). The uses are limited only by the imagination and need of the artist. The pages take colored pencil very well. They also take gel crayon, gel pens, water color pencils, and ink. I haven't tried alcohol markers or water based markers because I don't use those very often. The paper is not heavy, so I doubt it would work without gesso or another waterproofing medium. I am very pleased with it.

Great time saver and keeps things nice and organized
I love these books. I have a separate book for pencils, alcohol markers, brush tip markers, and gel pens. The separate books allow me to keep things more organized for me. If I don’t buy the entire set and can add to them open stock then when I swatch them I add the pencil name and number as if I already have it so I can keep all my brands together. I usually buy the whole sets if I can but sometimes it isn’t possible but I know I’ll eventually add to them so I want to be able to have the swatches all together instead of half in one spot and the other 33 pages away. These swatch books are great as far as I’m concerned. Yes the paper could be a bit better quality but then they wouldn’t be $8 lol. I also have the smallest book in the brand but am not gonna use it as it’s just too little...I write kinda big and trying to get all the info I want on one small line doesn’t work well for me. This book has enough writing space for me to add the color name, number and collection if available. If your looking for a good swatch book that’s affordable then this is the one for you....you can’t go wrong here. I was gonna make my own and print them but decided no more than these books cost its way easier just to buy the books.

Great chart, thin paper
Awesome color chart that can hold several different mediums from your collection. Paper is thin, so definitely use scrap paper behind the sheet you're working on if you're using markers that bleed.

Color Charts XL
I purchased the color charts XL book to help me keep track of my different colored pencil set colors, since so many of them do no have true to color barrels. This is a full size, soft-cover book. The beginning pages have some tips, a few pictures you can color in and a 'this book belongs ___' to page. Each page has 24 large boxes to color in, with 4 lines next to each box. These lines offer plenty of room to write the color names, number and/or brand. I have fairly large handwriting so the amount of room provided is perfect for me.The paper could be a bit thicker and I would definitely recommend using a blotter page or other sheets of paper between the pages while coloring the boxes in, especially if you are using pens or markers. I did have some bleed through with a few of my pencils. The pages are single sided though, so it doesn't cause any real issues if you place something between the pages. The boxes are large enough to show shading of each color or blending of multiple colors if you are making a color palette.Overall great purchase and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has a large collection of pencils, markers or pens for coloring or who likes to create color palettes for any type of art or design.I have posted a picture of a page in use and may add more as I continue to use it.
