Salomon Women's Outbound Prism Gore-tex Hiking Shoes Trail Running

I searched and searched for a waterproof shoe that was sticky and cute and found exactly what I was looking for here. I did one test run in a wet parking lot with puddles to make sure they were waterproof but besides that quick test I basically took these out of the box and hiked 9 miles on wet rocks and gravel uphill and down hill and along side a riverbed. My feet never got wet or sore. Not a single pinch point or blister. I have wider feet and sometimes have to jump up a 1/2 size but these fit great in my typical size 9. On top of be comfortable and awesome I got several compliments on them, so they checked off the cute box too!

I want these for hiking in Israel. The knobby sole is perfect for that purpose. Very comfy. Lightweight. Great price.

I bought these shoes to wear while walking my dog on cement while I recovered from having 3 toes fused. The toe bed is roomy and soft on top. The shoes tighten snugly enough to provide good support in the midfoot, but they are cut too low in the ankle area to offer good medial lateral support while walking on uneven ground. My feet are skinny and bony. The main disadvantage of these shoes for me is the firmness of the material used for the sole. I had to put a layer of neoprene between the sole and my orthotics to make the shoes comfortable enough to wear for even a couple of hours.

Good hiking shoes. I walked in water and on snow without any problem. It looks very good too, so I also wear the shoes for non-hiking purposes

My heel slide in and out of these before I could even go and walk in them outside. They don't feel as good as my other Salomon's. Are these really true Salomon's? If they are, they cheaped out on the insoles. They are usually nice Ortholite inserts. I tried my other insoles and they felt more comfortable, but the heel sliding issue was not resolved - it actually made it worse, like there wasn't enough heel area depth to keep my feet in the shoes. I don't want to get blisters when I walk/hike. I feel like I'd blister and always blister with these shoes. I'm very disappointed in the quality and fit. Returning!

I use these for easy dirt trails. Great tread for light hiking. Very comfortable.

Not sturdy for hiking. Returning. I’ve owned at least 10 pairs of this brand over the years. Their quality is going to heck.

The shoes were comfortable when trying on; but i haven't officially put them on for hiking yet!
