I have light brunette hair w/ blonde highlights, should I get the color blonde since its recommended to get a shade lighter then ur hair color?

I have blonde hair and very light eyebrows. The blonde is just on the border of being too dark but a little brushing out and it's perfect. For me, a blonde, it's definitely on the brown side and makes my brows strong. I suppose it depends on whether you want your brows to be bold or subtle. Maybe one of both? Depending on your mood?

Is the blonde more warm toned or more like a taupe?

The blonde is the only blonde I've been able to use because it is on the taupe side. There are no red undertones. I've found few brow products that do not have some red in them. This is one of the few.

Is it ashy or reddish?

The dark brown is not reddish a bit ashy but very true to color for a dark brown.
