Quality Cat Litter Box
Love this cat litter box. We had one for my daughter's cat but she moved out and took it with her, so I bought this one for my new kitten. I like this litter box because it is so easy to use and keep clean without scooping. The box holds up well and I expect to get many years of use. I would definitely recommend this litter box.

The best cat litter period. So easy and fast to use.
I have done everything possible to find the perfect cat litter box that requires as little engagement as possible with changing litter and throwing out poop as oftern as possible. I noticed for the past 6 months my cat has pooped outside the liter box even when its was clean and filled. I hear it could be medical, it wasn't, I heard it could be something emotional but nothing new happened or changed, I realized that even after 3 years she didn't like the pine pellet litter I had been using since I adopted her, I thought it was more eco-friendly and safe for her and the enviroment, but is was harder to clean and I was using a standard cta litter box that was a dreaded experience to clean, first I changed the cat litter to the standard Fresh Step non-clumping, then I ordered this cat litter, the moment I purchased this one and saw how fast it takes to siffer the usable litter into an alternate pan and the ease of how it seperated the poop apart, i was sold. I timed myself and it took a total of 30 seconds to clean the litter and dicard the poop into the garbage. I change the litter compleltely every 3 days and that takes less than 2 minutes. It's so simple and fast. Now my cat no longer poops outside the box and I don't dread scooping and cleaning the litter like I used to. It was so cheap yet it solved my problem immediately.

Great Concept and Much Easier Than Scooping, With a Small Learning Curve
I’ve used regular litter boxes for years, so I was curious to see whether a sifting box would actually make cleaning any easier. After using this one for a while, I have to say the lift-to-sift system is pretty convenient. It separates the clean litter from the waste without having to dig around with a scoop, and the box itself gives my cat plenty of room to turn around and get comfortable. I also like that I’m not locked into one specific type of litter. I’ve been able to experiment with what works best, and cleanup has definitely become less of a chore. Odor control has been good in my experience, although I still think regular cleaning is important—no litter box is going to completely eliminate odors on its own. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that the sifting process takes a little getting used to, especially if you put too much litter in the box. Once I figured out the right amount, it worked much better. Overall, it’s a practical, well-designed litter box that has made my daily cat-care routine noticeably easier.

Lightweight and cute. I like it very much. . It is too small for larger cats.
I got so tired of scooping and sneezing my head off. There had to be a better way. I like this box. . I just ordered a second one. I have two cats. The only negative is that it is on the small side compared to other pans, but i like that. You use less litter to fill the pan. Less waste in my opinion. I have 2 Persian kittens that are quite big at 5 months of age. They fit just fine. This box is very lightweight and at 66 i just could not lift the other heavier sifter box I had, when full of litter. This one is much much easier to clean, I Lift, toss, put back together. I sometimes don't bother reassembling. I leave the sifter section out and sift to the other box back and forth a few times a day .i use Arm and Hammer SLIDE or CLOUD CONTROL. Either works good with this box. Just don't shake too much or the clumps break up. I gently lift the sifter, then quickly put the empty tray under it to catch fall out. I toss the clumps, then wipe the old used box and sifter with a alcohol on a paper towel or Lysol wipe. I put the sifter in the just cleaned tray. Done. Ready for the next time. Ever week they all get a good soap and hot water scrub and new litter, but after 7 days, the box does not really need it. I am amazed how much longer the dust free SLIDE and CLOUD lasts with NO odor. And I have tried just about every kind. I detest dusty clay litter. This box will work with any clay hard clumping litter but it may make a sticky mess on the sifter holes. I am specifically talking about tidy cat instant. It made a broken clumps mess with bits sprayed all over the new clean litter when I tried sifting. And the clumps stuck like glue to the bottom of the pan. I would spend 15 minutes fishing for bits with a ( no kidding) plastic dinner fork. Just to make sure my small apt did not smell like cat pee. Don't they know that I will never buy it again? it also got very dusty after just a few days of the cats scratching around. It smelled nice - but dust and loose wet clumps? No way. UPDATE: I have been using 2 of these boxes for my 5 month old Persian kittens for about a week. Indo like them very much. They are light and easy to clean. Drawbacks - I wish the holes were not up to the edges. I am constantly sprinkling my toes tapping the sifter out and I am being very slow and gentle, but sprinkling on me or the floor happens almost every time. The litter I use ( A&H Slide) is very fine and sandy. And you cannot fill the box to the suggested fill line. This makes it heavy to pick up to sift and the cats make a huge mess digging. My cats love to dig to China I swept up about a cup full of clean litter this morning. Last night I had decided to try filling to the line. Big mistake. This morning, I poured half of each into a third box. Enough of that nonsense. Litter is expensive, and I just could not throw litter mixed with normal daily floor dirt back into my two babies boxes. What a waste. And lastly, YES they are a bit too small, but I still like the ease of use and the look of them, so for now they are staying. Final thought - i stopped stacking them. I now leave 3 unstacked boxes out and use one box and one sifter to clean the other three. I Put the extra sifter away. So i have 3 plain boxes being used with one filter section and one clean empty box to go around cleaning the others. It got annoying to lift the heavy full stacked box to get to the sifter. . I am a senior with arthritis and this way works for me best. I will probably have to get larger boxes when the kittens become full grown. For now they work fine.

I'd Give This 6 Stars If I Could ! 🎉
BUY IT ! BUT IT !! BUY IT !!! I rarely give 5 stars on anything. As a mechanical engineer, most products can be improved. This cat box system is a 5 star home run, right out of box. I am using this with pine pellets that I get from Home Depot for about $7 for a 40lb bag instead of clumping litter They are great and super cheap compared to clumping litter. Also, they smell really nice. I have a cat who pees a lot. She's 16 and is pre diabetic. I would say she pees about 1 cup+ of liquid when she goes. The pine pellets just dissolve into sawdust when they get wet. And they don't smell bad even after being peed on. After she's has gone to the bathroom, I scoop the poop, pull the retaining clips off the sides, pull one Black pan out and move it to the side, then I move the scooper around the sifting pan pan a few times to allow all of the wet/used sawdust to fall to the second pan below. Then I place the white sifting pan (the one with the holes) into the other black pan. Then I take the pan with the sawdust and empty that into a bag. I then place the sifting pan, and the Black pan into the other Black pan. Both Black pans have some type of coating on them so the sawdust doesn't stick which is fantastic. There is no terrible smell from the pee anymore like with clumping litter. There is no hard scraping or chiseling the pine pellets like with clumping litter. Some days I practically needed a pick axe and dynamite to get the semi wet/dried clumping litter out of the box and off the scooper. And I can dispose of the sawdust in my burn barrel. I use far less wood pellets than I would clumping litter. This has already been saving me so much money. And it is very sturdy and cheap compared to other stainless steel sifting pans that can run $60 and up. So if you're tired of being a cat poop/pee archeologist and having to dig deep in the pan for buried treasure all the time with a jackhammer, I highly recommend this product. Well done Arm and Hammer. Well done.

Be very careful when emptying screen into a bag for disposal (see my suggestion)
UPDATE: After using this for about a month (my original review below), here is my experience: 1. The frustrating (and dirty part) is emptying the screened litter into a bag to dispose of. I've started using an 8 gallon plastic garbage bag (from Amazon). The important part of this is to make sure the screen pan is completely inside the bag, or else do this over the now-fresh pan; otherwise, used litter spills on the floor -- or the litter box mat. I dislike waste and especially plastic waste, so the 8-gallon bag suffices for a few days' litter; since I am always adding a layer of baking soda to the "fresh" litter and that goes into the plastic garbage bag with the used litter, there is no odor. My cat has his own dedicated bathroom which removes the odor issue. Conclusion: this works as long as you are careful when pouring the dirty litter from the screen into a plastic bag for disposal. Again: use a cup of baking soda when you replace the now "clean" litter pan. Also note that one end of the screen is higher than the other. I still prefer this to scooping because the clumps don't break up as they too easily do when scooping.. While this is a brilliant idea intended to ease the (minor) work of scooping out the litter box, it has a couple of (not minor) flaws I experienced using it for the first time this morning: 1. Separating and lifting the top pan filled with litter from the screen is not easy since its weight jams it into the pans below and getting fingers into the gap between the two pans is difficult, and the heavy dirty litter pan is unwieldy. 2, With the traditional method, I could scoop the clumps into a small bag for disposal; with this, the only way to "easily" clean it out is to lift the entire screen and pour the clumps into a much larger plastic bag -- and lifting the screen without dribbling a bit of litter on the floor requires three hands. And then cleaning up the spilled litter.... 3. The just-emptied pan has some stains of litter stuck on the bottom; where do I put the screen pan while I go wash out the still a bit dirty pan, or do I just stick it on the bottom? I sprinkled a bit of baking soda into it to alleviate any potential odor. Still unsure about this being really that much easier than scooping. Will give it a few more days.

Great but clunky
I’ve been using the Arm & Hammer Large Sifting Litter Box with Microban, and it’s made litter cleanup noticeably easier compared to a traditional box. The biggest benefit is the sifting design—no scooping required. You just lift the top tray and the clean litter filters through, leaving waste behind. It makes daily maintenance faster and much less messy, especially when you can dump directly into a bag instead of scraping a scoop. The size is generous and works well for a multi-cat household or larger cat. The Microban feature is a nice touch for helping control odors, and I’ve noticed it stays fresher longer than standard boxes. Cleaning and changing litter is straightforward. When it’s time for a full change, you can lift, separate, and dump without a lot of effort or contact with waste, which is a big plus. Pros: * No scooping required (sifting design is very convenient) * Easy to dump and clean into a bag * Large size works well for bigger cats or multiple cats * Helps control odor with Microban treatment * Simple, low-mess maintenance Cons: * Requires compatible litter depth for best sifting results * Bulkier than basic litter boxes * Can still be a bit heavy when fully loaded Overall, this is a really convenient litter box if you want to cut down on scooping. It makes cleanup faster, cleaner, and less hands-on, which is exactly what I was looking for.

Quick and easy
This is a good buy. It makes cleaning the litter box real easy. All you do is sift the litter and your left with all the waste in the sifter for easy disposal and then you put it back together and add more litter if needed. So you have it done in a snap.

Litter sifting & changing made easy!
I've used sifting litter pans previously, and ended up switching back to a basic litter pan because of the mess made when trying to sift the dirty litter out..... NOT with this set! I placed the sifting pan in the middle of the 2 solid-based units, and dumping from the solid-bottom to the sifting pan was very easy and not nearly as messy! I use Arm & Hammer EZ-Slide litter, and it slides right out of the pan into the sifter. Lifting up the sifter is pretty much all I needed to do to have the dirty litter remain for disposal, and the loose litter flowed into the bottom pan with ease. Fits very well inside a litter-table I purchased separately for my living room, and makes it easy for me to remember to clean it out regularly! My cats love it!

Best sifter i ever bought
Previously i bought a sifting litter box from a local store but i had difficulty using it as the sifter had too small holes for the wood dust to go through without clogging the holes. I hated using it but ever since i bought this sifting litter box it has been much easier to use that I’m going to buy another one as my two cats need more than two litter boxes.

10 minute task is now 2 minutes
Very easy to use and makes the task of cleaning the litter box a lot faster. my only comment would be the size, it works for kittens but might be a little small for big cats.
