They're no longer being made so some 3rd party sellers are presumably trying to sell them as collectibles? Or they're just trying to rip people off. For $300+ you can get vastly superior night vision products. This one was pretty cool for $80 but I hope too many people are getting tricked by unscrupulous sellers.Incidentally, this IS basically the same technology that goes into the $300 IR night vision units, but the legitimately more expensive ones have vastly superior optics and more powerful IR projectors.
