Tiny, well-built, bright, lots of features.
Mounted sturdily under the seat. I was able to verify all the features including brake lighting immediately. Looking forward to using it on my commute tomorrow! 2-day usage update: I love this light! It's sturdy, came with a couple of mounting options (bracket and strap), a short charging cable (standard USB connections) and is tiny but VERY visible (according to an objective bystander). The most useful features are the battery life and auto on/brake/off light options. I've used it on two round-trip commutes (1 hour total ride time), and the charge indicators say it's still over 75% charged. The thing that makes me most happy, though, is that it just comes on when I move the bike, and turns off after about 30 seconds when the bike's stationary. No need to push the power button several times to cycle through until the light turns off. The motion sensor is spot-on, and the light brightens considerably when it detects a slow-down, simulating being connected to the brakes. I've been using the "pulse" setting, and when it goes into braking mode it changes to very bright, continuous light. All in all, I highly recommend this light if you're trying to be as visible as possible on the streets, night or day.

Solid build and a smart mounting design
This ROCKBROS tail light feels well-made right out of the box. The hardware is solid, the setup is straightforward, and the light itself is impressively bright. I especially like how it mounts directly to the back of the saddle. It stays put securely, unlike other lights I’ve used that rely on cheap rubber or plastic bands. Those always seem to loosen and slide down the seat post after a while. With this design, the light stays exactly where you put it, which is a big plus for regular riding. I haven’t had it long enough to speak to long-term durability yet, but it’s easy to remove for charging with the included USB-C cable. Overall, it’s a well-designed, reliable tail light that does exactly what it should.

The smart brake sensing feature is legit!
The smart brake sensing feature is legit - it actually brightens when I slow down or stop, just like a car brake light. That extra visibility gives me more confidence when riding on roads, especially at night or in low-light conditions. Drivers definitely notice me more now. The light is USB-C rechargeable, which is super convenient (finally no more micro-USB cables), and the battery life has been solid so far. I’ve done several multi-hour rides without needing a recharge. I attached a short video that shows the different light modes so you can see how it works in action. In the video, it’s hard to see, but there are 4 tiny blue LEDs that flash from time to time — these are the battery level indicators. Each dot represents 25% battery life, so when all four are flashing, it means the light is fully charged. A small but really useful feature! It’s also proven to be durable. I’ve ridden through rain and puddles, and the IPX6 waterproofing has held up perfectly. Overall, this is a bright, smart, and well-designed rear light. If you ride on streets or trails and want to boost your visibility and safety, this one’s absolutely worth picking up. I do wish it were a bit cheaper, though.

Best tail light I’ve ever used
This things awesome! I love tricking out my bike with little gadgets and practical things as well. I’ve gone thru a lot of break lights over the years and this is the only one I’ve wanted to rate! Works so well, has lots of intelligent features like auto off in daylight, and getting brighter when breaking! Installation was super easy can be accomplished two different ways which is handy. Highly recommend! My only slight gripe is that you have to unscrew it from the mount to charge. A quick release would be nice, although the last one I had fell off when riding and it had a quick release! I guess we can’t have it all can we? 😅

Decent value
Good build quality and mounting hardware feels secure. I like the two mounts included; one light for two bikes; just unscrews from one mount to screw onto the other. USB-C charging is always nice. The 4 modes have good options for always flashing or motion detection. Brightness is pretty good for night-time, but won't overcome sunset-type conditions and the light is not very noticeable in daylight. I'd recommend finding a brighter rear light for day time. The 4 dots for battery level are helpful but don't work great. I haven't seen 1 dot "25% battery life" because it dies after it gets to 2 dots. That said, if it's charged up the battery life is still decent and overall still a good light.

Best tail light ever.
Update: I would remove stars (not possible) because the “saddle bracket” after coming loose eventually fell off. They include a second alternative method “seat post strap” which is way more reliable. The primary attachment method is flawed do not use it or you will lose it!, or you will have to replace it. I will NOT re-purchase this item if it fails again! I have purchased numerous cheap tail lights in the past which usually end up falling off or dying after a few months. I haven’t had this one for that long but I dig it! I didn’t know how well it worked until I switched bikes with my girlfriend and rode behind her. The light is bright and quite noticeable and when you slow down it brightens and then goes out like a brake light. There are two mounting options which Enables me to quickly switch it To my other bike. The battery is strong, and charges up relatively quick. Don’t need to worry about the battery dying on long rides.

Just buy it
Like other comments It does know when you are Breaking how idk im still trying to figure it that out. But when people are behind me and I slow down without breaking they tell me its Showing breaking so my guess is it has to do with the WIND hitting it and know it has less wind so its detecting your breaking. Would Totally buy again when mine goes out or stops working but Might get the mini next time not sure. I do HIGHLY recommend this for E-bikes that do NOT have a break light it works Great.
