This is an "OEM" replacement filter. It supposedly filters much of the particulate pollution we experienced in the Chicago area from the Canadian wildfires. I have replaced one of them after about 6 months and it was dirty. This is an accordion type filter that fits perfectly in the housing. I put greater trust in this filter because it is branded Aprilaire.

Fit perfectly. Be sure to get the right model number. I needed the SpacGard 2200 version of the 213. Carefully order the exact version you need. Everything worked great.
