Great struts for the price. Monroe still makes great equipment.
These went into a 2011 GMC Acadia. I had zero issues on install. What I would recommend is that you do not torque the top bolts to factory spec. Hand tighten them, drive it around for a couple of months and then tighten them again. This is just a personal experience and I read a lot of the reviews that said if you try to torque them you will break the bolts or strip the threads. In speaking with mechanics they told me the same thing. Easy to install if you know what you're doing. They are a great all-in-one kit.

Nice ride now
Ride is much better now. Be sure and get a front end alignment when replacing struts. Cost me $650.00 for 2new tires and alignment.

decent
a little stiffer and higher than oem, but pretty decent overall. Only a few months old so durability cannot be commented on.

Great price for these loaded struts
Great price for these loaded struts. Bought these for my Saturn outlook. Installation wasnt too bad. Might want to have penetrating oil and tool to pull wiper arm of of seized. Jack stands are a must have. Would suggest changing sway bar links while doning this job if youre at high millage. The bottom bolt in the strut is part of alignment. Try to match up where the original marks are when tightening to keep alignment. Truck rides smooth again!

One failed after about 30,000 miles - claiming the warranty is an issue
I bought two of these in 2018 for a 2009 Acadia. This weekend while driving on the freeway, one side of the vehicle hit a small pothole and the vehicle felt unstable after contacting the pothole. I stopped the vehicle to discover small drops of fluid on the wheel well cover. After additional investigation, it was obvious the strut was leaking as the strut and control arm were covered with fluid. From the looks of it, the strut had been leaking for sometime. Now for the warranty issue: From the manufacturer (Monroe) , warranty claim are serviced by the retailer. The retailer says the window for return has closed. After spending 30 minutes or so communicating with the retailer, they said sorry (but not sorry), they will not warranty claim the item. I will reach out to Monroe to see if they will help, but I am not too hopeful for the outcome of that interaction. For now I have a vehicle that I have herniation to drive and will most likely have to foot the bill for another strut assembly. The only thing I can say is the strut work well, while it lasted... UPDATED March 21, 2023: Removing one star. Adding images of failed strut assembly. The failed strut was in light duty service for a little over four (4) years and about 28,000 miles. The upper bearing rubber bushing shows cracking (#1 - see attached image with numbers) and the leaking fluid (#2). The deterioration of the rubber bushing is concerning. There was appeared to be less deterioration of the OEM strut bushing that was first replaced (which had almost 10 years and over 100k miles of service). The failed Monroe strut's rubber, appears to be deteriorating much faster. I know after market parts generally don't hold up as well as OEM parts, but this deterioration seems excessive. I left messages with Monroe about claiming the limited lifetime warranty (when the retailer would not honor it) but, as expected, received no response to my inquiry. I purchased another Monroe strut, from another retailer (see comparison image). I considered buying another brand, but stayed with Monroe to reduce the chance of having an issue with an imbalance in the suspension system. I have used these Monroe Quick-struts on several other vehicles in the past, but after this experience, I won't be using them in the the future. About the only good thing I can mention is that the vehicle's ride has improved since replacing the strut.

What happened to the quality of Monroe parts?
Monroe used to be a good brand name in suspension parts. As soon as I opened the box, I could see that these are just more Chinese junk. I installed them anyway because I needed to get the car back on the road. These things bottom out every time I hit a bump in the road, and it sounds like the front end is coming apart. On smooth road they do just fine and handle great. Just don't go anywhere that's not smooth.

I replaced both front units on my SUV and it smoothed and quieted the ride greatly.

Doing a great job so far.

Would have given 5 stars... however after installing, past my return deadline, we found that one of the struts was faulty from factory. By the time we found the source of the noise it was too late and had already damaged the strut and unable to return.
