This deters deer but needs repeat application without rain. Smells disgusting! Not foolproof.

This stuff works! The deers had stripped eaten almost all the leaves on my mandevila plant. I started looking for options to keep deer away and came across this product. After reading the reviews, I decided to try it. Within a week, the leaves started coming back and I now have some buds on it. And I have not seen any signs of deer near our house. While it does have a very pungent smell, it goes away pretty quickly. I would definitely recommend this product if you have a problem with deer eating your plants.

My wooded back yard abuts other wooded back yards so there are plenty of deer and rabbits that love to chomp on several of my wife's perennials. Liquid Fence does what it says it will do if you follow the directions and reapply it regularly. My only problem with the product is the spray system. It rarely works, and when it does, it stops working before the container is empty. Because the cap is integral to the sprayer it doesn't come off like a conventional screw-on cap, so I often use a box cutter to cut a hole in the plastic container so I can pour the liquid into a sprayer. It's messy and it's smelly.

I live in town, so I don't really have problems with deer, but rabbits were constantly helping themselves to my plants before I started using this product. The ready-to-use spray is convenient and easy to apply, and after using it, I noticed a significant decrease in rabbit damage. My plants have been able to grow without being nibbled down, which has made gardening much more enjoyable. While the scent is noticeable right after application, it fades, and the protection is well worth it. I appreciate having a simple solution that helps keep unwanted visitors away without putting up fencing around every garden bed. If you're struggling with rabbits in your garden, this product is definitely worth trying. It has helped protect my raised beds and keep my plants looking their best!

After going through numerous other brands, many purchased at garden stores for much more money, I found this to actually keep the deer away from my garden. My only con is the smell, but they warn you about it and it does go away, to the human nose, when it dries. I have gotten it on my clothing and skin and it did not damage either. My landscaper told me that when the deer get used to the product it will no longer deter them. I have used it when initially purchased and then numerous times since spring, and so far, well into the end of June, it still keeps them out of the garden, even though they will be walking around my yard. I will admit that I use it more often than it says on the product, but it does not damage my plants, so I will continue to do so.

After fighting urban deer for years, I tried Liquid Deer Fence. A godsend!! After one application, my backyard camera caught a deer coming into the yard at night then turning right around and leaving. Sprayed once a week for three weeks and will now wait one month before next application. I was masked and gloved for the spraying. The smell dissipated within an hour and a half. Worth the effort. My plants are all coming back. Follow the directions carefully for maximum effectiveness.

I’ve used Liquid Fence for a couple of years and it does deter deer. You’ll need to respray after it rains. It’s not 100% effective but it certainly helps. We have a lot of deer here in NJ. When there is nothing tasty for them to eat they’ll eat anything to fill their bellies. Why only 3 stars? I bought the 1 gallon container with a sprayer. The sprayer never worked. I had to fill a spray bottle to apply. I would have been better off buying the concentrate version.

People weren’t lying about the smell! Caution: Attracts some animals. The dog thought it was great and tried to chew her way into the container. 🥴. Easy application but sprayer quit working after about 15 minutes. Smell does dissipate once dry. I’ll update on effectiveness after a few nights on the deer highway. 🦌 Update: No deer or rabbit damage to plants since using. It does need to be reapplied, especially after heavy rains, but works well!

I have been using this for a few months now. I can see deer on the camera by my hedge and they are not eating the hedge - so far so good and the hedge is growing strong which will protect it from the deer better than young shoots.

Hopefully will deter deer from our garden

It seems to be working - which is extraordinary as we have a large area where dear and rabbits can enter.

Bought it for my mother’s garden to get rid of rabbits. Followed the instructions and the rabbits are still there. Waste of time and money.

Didn't stop any rabbits or deer coming onto our property.
