Sperry Top-Sider Gold Billfish ASV

My feet feels so comfortable plus great arch support! Great looking as well. The size for me was a true size.

I have worn Sperry Top-Siders for years ever since in 1959 I wore blue Sperry Top-Sider boat shoes when all the rest were wearing their Converse athletic shoes. Mine were blue and they said those were for girls. Well, times have changed, but I still like my boat shoes. Now I have the sailboat to go with them.These are well made and very comfortable. With the soft leather lining these are especially nice when one chooses to wear them without sox. The are ventilated well and dry quickly when they have become wet as sometimes happens especially here in Seattle. It is becoming very hard to find this particular model any longer and I was glad I found them on line. They came as expected, but I was disappointed that the box lid was broken when they arrived, possibly from being pulled off the shelf too many times. It is a shame because these boxes are nice for storage purposes.Why only four stars? I like to tie them loose enough that I can just slip them on and off without re-tying them all the time. The laces have something else in mind since they want only to be straight and not tied, so no matter what I have ever done to these laces aside from sewing them in a bow, they find themselves untied and I am constantly re-tying the laces even when tied on a base of a square knot, in a double bow or even in a bowline. Now, that is a lace with a soul. I even communicated with Sperry about the problem and they sort of laughed at me.Good luck keeping them tied. Other than that they are a great shoe for those who like traditional things.I bought them through Amazon from a third party.

These are great looking and extremely comfortable with soft leather inside to cradle your foot. A bit expensive but worth the extra bucks. I own several types of Sperry boat shoes and these are a step up, hence the extra price.

Visual quality and comfort is great. Design flaw on both shoes on the inner side where the shoe flexes - leather has begun to slightly pull away from the mesh fabric material and I have only worn these a few times. The "Air" insole on one shoe annoyingly squeak with every step I take. They are the correct size. I should have bought the basic version - never any issues.Update- One additional day after I wrote this review the inside lining above the foot began to pull away and is now loose. The shoes have never been wet, I have worn them 5x inside only and they are falling apart.

These are too small, I have another pair of ASV Sperry's which are 12M size they were fine. now what?

These were well made overall but I returned my pair because there was a leather flap inside one of the shoes that gouged into my foot and caused irritation and blistering.

This is my second pair. The first pair was probably the most comfortable shoes overall that I have ever owned. I was concerned about the price when I bought the first pair, but they proved to be a great value.

My husband purchased his first pair of these Sperrys at Nordstrom. These are his favorite knock around shoes, and was disappointed that Nordstrom was out of stock. Delighted to find them on Amazon. These are extremely comfortable and well made shoes. Definitely worth the price.
