What gauge size earrings would you get if you pierce your lobes with a 16g needle?

Get TWO sizes up. I pierced my other nostril (have had my left pierced for six or so years), and struggled getting an 18 gauge 14k gold through with a 16 gauge needle. It hurt and my husband had to help. Two size up um. Seriously. The 16 gauge worked for my 18 gauge jewelry, but why go through the pain and stress. Go 2 sizes up from your jewelry.

What size needle do I use to pierce my lobes? And then what size jewelry?

16 and 18 gauge are the ones I commonly use, depending on earring of course. Hoops are often a bigger gauge, thicker than regular piercing studs. As long as the needdle is not bigger than earring, you should be fine. I do recomment you let a profesional do it though

No I ordered 14gage and received 10 of the same.

What size should I use for a nose piercing?

what i do remember is i used a much bigger needle and pierced it myself with no problem
