ASICS Women's Gel-Excite 8 Running Shoes

Buying online is so difficult and my foot has specific needs. Asiac’s guidelines helpful. I got the wide. Nice wide toe bed with support and padding for toes (many shoes lack!). excellent arch support. I’m not a runner but I’m on my feet for long hours working and walking outdoors. While not as comfortable used to wear Merrell Moab 2. Love the Vibram sole! but the company changed the footbed and it caused my much foot and knee pain. Now, I’ve yet to find a work boot or hiking shoe that offers comfort, stability and durability. Hoaka’s motorgoat 4 have worked well for about 8 months before started to break down. Also a bit heavier than these. These are much less expensive, lighter and comfortable. I’ll be happy to get a good 6 months with these. great shoes for walking and wearing all day. Wish Asiac would make a more durable farm shoe with Vibram soles!

I bought this shoe because for whatever reason unknown to me I tend to get shin splints when I run or walk. I decided to trust a review that said it helped them with this problem and it has help mine. This shoe is the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. It provides support in the right places. I don't get shin splints anymore and it absorbs shock well from any exercise that I may do. I wear this shoe everyday a couple hours for exercising. I also wear it on the weekends or days when I have lots of errands and I need a comfortable shoe for all day wear. I even like it for when I have to sit and drive for hours.After 2 years it has held up well and looks pretty much like new despite it being lived in pretty much

Great standing shoes

I love the thickness of the sole and the support I feel wearing them. I broke my ankle in three places and finding comfortable supportive shoes has been difficult. I purchased a wide shoe and the toe area on one foot is a little squished, but nothing painful and nothing I am sure won't work itself out with a couple more wears.I recently purchased a different brand and the bottom wore out in less than six months to the point I couldn't walk without pain after wearing them. I feel like these soles will hold up much better.I would recommend these shoes for wide feet. My other Asics lasted a few years before I decided I needed new ones and I wear sneakers to work almost every day.

I love these shoes so much! They look very good on my feet – I was specifically looking for white shoes as I feel more athletic in those (mind tricks, I know)... I like lifting, but I need some cardio in my training, and bits like this help me getting those in.It has more arch support than I expected (I had the Excite 7 before, but this was cheaper right now in my size), but it doesn't have a lot of cushion – hence the 4 stars. It has more drop and more cushion that I would tolerate for lifting, though, so I still keep this for my cardio workouts! Wouldn't recommend them for lower body heavy(-er) lifting!I have wide feet and it has a comfortable toe box to accommodate for that need!I usually wear 10-10.5 for running, but I use these in the gym exclusively (keeping them clean-er ;)), and for any other activities, most styles fit me in 9-9.5. I ordered 9.5 and they are perfect!All in all, I'd recommend these shoes, just be aware that you won't have the "walking on cloud" feeling.

I bought these with the intentions of wearing them to the hospital. I walk a lot during my clinical days and stand for long periods. I haven’t had them long but so far they have been amazing! They feel like they are really surrounding and supporting my feet. So far my feet and ankles have not hurt like they were. They are a reasonable price. They are true to size as well. The only issues I’m having is the shoe laces are very short I struggle to tie them so it may be a good idea to order a longer set of shoe laces with these!

I am so excited to find this older style of ASIC tennis shoes. It is so comfortable. I have used my first pair to take my longer walks for the past couple years since they fit so well. Though they are still in good shape, it is time for a new pair. I have narrow feet so the more expensive tennis shoes, like HOKA or Brooks, don't fit me.

I got these shoes because I have plantar fasciitis and the doctor recommended them. I haven’t honestly had foot pain since. They are comfortable, cute, and perfect for work. I’ve also worn them for running and they have held up really well. Will buy again
