This works fairly good but it takes up so much space I had a very hard time making it work for the reason I bought it. In the right place I can see it being a great tool, and for that reason I'm going to keep it. I would just suggest others looking at this, double check the size of the tool and the space they have available where they need to use it before purchasing.

Under the right conditions this works very well. I used heat, and I had ample space to turn it with a long breaker bar. The mechanism makes it look like you might have to turn it the opposite way, but this is not the case; it grips and then the whole unit turns. You need a lot of room for it to spin.I was nervous to use it on a broken subframe bolt, because if it didn't work the threads on the stud would be completely gone, removing other options. The bolt was very cross-threaded and bolt extractors were not working for me. I was right, the stud was obliterated, but it sure worked! The bolt took some threads with it so I had to tap it out after. Explore gentler options before using this if you can.

l'outil m'a aidé à retirer une bolt dont la tête était brisée, excellent pour le travail que je voulais faire. Toutefois, l'outil et assez large et les pièces ne sont pas fixées ensemble. Pas l'idéal dans un endroit étroit. Outil résistant et de bonne qualité, fait la job.

real heavy piece of steel . it did not work for me as my bolts were to close to the engine block . but I am sure it will work given the room.

I had been trying with heat and vice grips and it wasn't working. I put this tool on and stud came right out.
