I purchased this marble contact paper to give my kitchen an affordable makeover while saving up for a full renovation, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! I’ll admit, applying it was a bit tricky at first, but once I got the hang of it, it went on smoothly. Investing in a few tools—a heat gun, yard stick, an X-Acto knife, and a felt smoother—made all the difference in achieving a flawless finish. The look is incredibly realistic; people are always shocked when I reveal it’s just contact paper! It also paired beautifully with SMART TILES Peel and Stick Wall Tiles (Essaouira White, Pack of 5), which I used for the backsplash. The combination of these products gave my kitchen a polished, high-end feel. It’s been a couple of months since I installed it, and it still looks brand new—no stains, rips, or dimples. While I know it’s not a permanent fix, it has definitely elevated the space beautifully in the meantime. Totally worth the investment!

I had an old bathroom vanity that desperately needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, it needed to be custom built and would have cost me about $800 (after all was said and done) and would have taken months to receive. I decided to research removing the sink and then recovering the countertop. I had a lot of different brands sent to me, but as soon as I opened this one, I knew it was the best choice. The material is very thick, so you know the coverage will be excellent and that it will last. The installation was VERY easy, I loved that if you didn't quite lay it correctly, you could easily remove it and redo. Others I have tried in the past either ripped or stuck together making it almost impossible to do. I have had this laid down for a week and the adhesive is very secure, it's definitely not going anywhere. It's easy to clean and I think it looks amazing! Thank you for saving my hundreds of dollars!

Someday I am going to take a scrap of my left over and do a burn test to find out at what point this stuff melts or shows damage, but it has held up to hot from the microwave and hot beverages with no problem. And wow - what a transformation! In a few years we plan to do a real kitchen renovation, but I couldn't stand our countertop anymore - it was a dark, dingy muddled green. After reading so many rave reviews, this seemed like an affordable short term solution without too much hard labor. That evaluation was spot on. I love how it turned out. I chose the matte white marble because I did not want anything shiney that screamed plastic. This product, along with a color changing paint job on the walls, has taken my kitchen from drab and tired to clean, bright and fresh. Good investment of $130 dollars and about 12 hours labor that was not back breaking - kind of fun actually (other than the blasted sink). Would have been shorter installation time too if I did not have curved countertop and attached back splash. Those two things added a lot of time. Yes, I know - if I had the tools and skills I could have installed new countertop in that time, but I don't. My philosophy is make things as nice as you can, within your limitations. Not buying new countertop and paying for skilled labor until the real reno. So now the tips and tricks. First - don't make this your first peel and stick project! Buy some cheap contact paper you can easily remove and apply that first for practice if you have never done anything like this. I have been using contact paper for 50 of my 60 years, and that experience was invaluable. Peel and stick is the only thing this stuff has in common with contact paper though. This is thick car wrap grade vinyl; a huge cut above. Know that having a hair dryer is essential for lifting and resticking and smoothing. I started with the smallest easiest countertop for practice and worked my way up to the hardest, the sink countertop. IF YOU HAVE THE TOOLS AND SKILL TAKE YOUR SINK OUT! I do not, so I had to go the cutting around and caulking with silicone route. I ended up tearing the vinyl where it was weakend after cutting the sink hole. Patched it as best I could and it is in an inconspicuous spot but that would not have happened if the sink was removed and I had not had to work around the faucet. If you have to leave the sink in place, a sharp utility knife is essential when cutting around the sink, and don't do the final cut - leave yourself and inch or so of extra margin - until the rest of the counter top from end to end is smooth and in place. I had to do a lot of adjustments on the sink piece. The two smooth non sink countertops were easy peasy though, and the sink one would have been too if I could have taken it out. The four foot sink counter top took me as much time as 9 feet of straight countertop did! In the end though, totally worth it and it is holding up great, not unsticking at all, even around the sink (remember to use clear silicone caulk to seal the gap.) If it does start to peel a bit I'm pretty sure a quick touch up with the hair dryer will reseal things. Love, love, love.

I used this product to wrap the top of a table on my boat. It was harder to work with than the textured vinyl wrap I used for the cabinets but the design does look good. I tried to wrap a 4 foot section of the kitchen area on my boat but I had difficulty and had to pull off the vinyl.

Oh so many things wrong with this peel and stick vinyl laminate. 1–$. Way too expensive for the amount of work you have to do. 2 - beyond difficult to work with 3- this isn’t “ looks great” or “ looks okay”. Maybe more like “ it will do.” 4- this takes a Herculean effort to lift and reposition if more than 2 inch are down on surface you are trying to cover. 5 - bubbles, get use to them. You can not get them out We watched videos on how to do this. I have used almost every peel and stick wallpaper and other products like this. DO NOT believe the 5 stars ratings. I think they bought them. I needed to cover two long thin tables that the vinyl was showing wear on. Sounds easy right. Well before we were through I threw the whole mess along with the tables in the trash. Did I tell you that it sticks so hard that it peeled the old vinyl and underlayment off! DON’T DO IT!

I guarantee anyone complaining about this product didn't start with a degreaser or primed surface. This was so easy a kid could do this. I used two coats of primer over my countertop and this stuck perfectly the first time. I squeegeed as I went and had zero issues with bubbles. A hair dryer actually made this look worse so immediately I stopped that and just let them sit and cure on their own. Absolutely easy and although high priced, what would a 13 foot marble slab have cost me? This counter was old doors we took out of our remodel cut down and I think looks amazing.

Great product easily installed but took a while to get it. Don’t understand why it took 18 days with prime I ordered it twice same time frame.
