Filter, MoCA POE for Cable TV & OTA coaxial Networks ONLY

Works like a charm

this item has been essential at my apartment in keeping my wireless internet bandwidth from being occupied by other tenants as a default setting for most cell phones/wifi connections. Excellent quality, exactly what I needed. It was easy to install and functioned well immediately.

My house has internet via coax cable and MoCa boxes. These were interfering with the antenna signal connected to the same hub in the attic. I put this device in line with the antenna cable and then connected that to the hub and it greatly improved the antenna reception on the tvs in the house. Now I have both antenna tv and moca internet running together on the same coax cables.

So far so good. Seems to be doing its job. Chopped a star off of the review just because when reading the included document (stuff about how MoCA works and what this filter is good for. The English was atrocious. Clearly some dudes overseas just mashed together some real goofy sentences. Ship a product out that works! Great! Quality control on a simple reproduced piece of paper you put in every box? NOPE. Soooo I hope the QC on the Filter is better than what I could read.

Works just good

I live in an apartment complex and was having an issue with my Xfinity wifi where every device I used was getting a message that the device was "Paused" and I needed to unpause the device in the Xfinity app to use it- Even though no devices were showing as "Paused" in my app. I literally couldn't do anything on the wifi I am paying for because of this error. I plugged this in between my modem and the wall coaxial cable, and the problem IMMEDIATELY went away. Don't spend all day on the phone with Xfinity and their useless support representatives who try to upsell you on phone plans instead of trying to fix the problem you're calling about- Buy one of these instead!!

Working as expected

The hardware itself seems of quality build, however there is no threaded collar on the item, so the entire thing will need to rotate in order for you to tighten the part down to the coax. That is the end to anything positive I have to say about this filter. If you're deploying MoCA in your apt, it might be required, however, if you're on a private line do not bother buying this. No matter what I tried, I could not get full throughput over this stupid thing. I have gigabit from my provider and without the filter, every host across my MoCA deployment is seeing 800mb or more, but with this filter in place the highest speed I could muster is ~45mb/s. I tested with multiple splitters as well, all of which were low latency rated. Again, I cannot recommend this product to anybody that thinks they need this for use with their MoCA deployment.

TV is working well and I am using it because I am using Moca adapter with my router.

Un poco caro, pero esencial para usar un sistema MoCA. Cumple con todo lo que se espera.

Used to setup my MoCa network so my ISP wouldn’t cause me any trouble..so far so good!
