Nice suface wax. Used on my honed slate floor that has not been sealed in, say, 12 years. Evened out the surface sheen an looked really nice! Went on easily and quickly with my microfiber mop. Tolerable scent (I hate all products, basically, that are not fragrance-free so I'm not a good judge). You get a lot of product for your money as it is quite concentrated - repeat cleaning use a very diluted concentaration for upkeep. The quart would easily last me a year.

I used this FILA Surface Care Solutions 1Liter MATT Matte Liquid Wax on my kitchen slate floor. I wasn’t sure how much protective wax I should add to my empty windex bottle and did not want to waste product. Decided to wing it knowing that I could always add more to the spray bottle, if needed. Poured some wax into the bottle, added a small amount of water to thin it out and started spraying the floor. I was surprised with how much came out of the bottle and knew that I needed to evenly distribute the product. I took a microfiber cloth and evenly spread it on the floor, allowing it to dry for an hour. I decided to do 3 coats instead of two since it had been a while since I put any effort into the floor. It was easy to use but was a little thicker than I would have liked. Next time I will add a bit more water to thin it out even more. There is a mild scent to the product. When my husband came home he asked what the smell was. It is not noxious and does not need open windows for ventilation, like some products need. It is definitely on the milder side and dissipates within hours. When I ordered this I thought it was sealer, which is what I need. That is my error and I should have read the listing better. I will definitely be using this again, except next time it will be layered over sealer.

easy to use and dried quickly. Perfect matte shine and now makes cleaning much easier. It is holding up really and has no weird smell.
