THE Workhorse Prop For a Big Quad
First off - four out of five stars simply because these are AFFORDABLE props. It would be kinda bizarre to rate them as "perfect" when much better props can be had for more money. Doesn't mean I don't love APC's props.I've been using these b*****s for a long time now, first on a DIY tricopter and then on the quadcopter version of it that I fly to this day. These are tough, efficient, reasonably balanced props that can dig sand and weeds and still beg for more. Yes, they do break, but they will take quite a lot before that happens, generally speaking. These go great with motors in the 800 kv range (I use four RC Timer 850kv motors) and can easily give you 13+ mins in the air on a 3S 3000mAH pack if you build reasonably light. That's what I get out of my bird (Valkyrie II) with good 3S 3000mAH Zippy 30C LiPo packs with an all-up weight of 1140 grams. With the full FPV rig on board (Yeah, I'm an FPV maniac, it's in my blood), she's about 1380 grams all-up and I get more like 11 minutes and change off the same pack. 4000mAH 3S Turnigy packs give me a bit more time, like say a couple minutes extra.Anyway, yeah... I've tried LOTS of props on that bird, amongst them the three blade 9045 props from HobbyKing, the GWS knockoff 1047 two blade slowflyer props also from HK, and the 9047 APC Slow Fly props, and while the three blade 9 inchers did give more stability and less noise, I also lost almost two minutes of flight time. Nothing reasonably affordable has beaten these APC 1047 props yet, and I don't want to get into expensive props that end up in expensive pieces all over my backyard just for a little bit more time or a bit better balance.Bottom line - good, affordable props... better than many options out there. Not as good as many, sure, but props break, and don't you wanna spend that money building more toys instead of keeping the existing ones working?Have fun and happy flying!Rick NR417PS: I'm soon to graduate my homemade mini-quadcopter, "The Sprite", from three blade 7045 HobbyKing props to APC Slow Flyer 8047's, which should be a fairly seamless transition. I expect to lose a little stability and gain some noise, but also gain a little more flight time which will be awfully nice. She's a little hotrod, very spunky and responsive in the air and yet super stable even in very strong winds gusting upward of 20mph. I LOVE that bird! Yes, I'm bragging. Every parent should be proud of their children. ;-)

Smooth
I had been flying carbon-fiber props instead of these, which are the stock propellers. Having broken one of those, I put this set on, and I like these much better. The CF props had 4.5 pitch instead of 4.7, but were also narrower than these. These are smoother to fly, and my Iris doesn't have to work as hard to stay aloft with these (or so it seems).

On the product description was told I was going to get 2 pair a pusher and a puller, but I only got a pair and its a pusher, maybe the description on he product should be reedited so customers are not mislead thinking they are getting 2 pair of props

The prop itself is fine, but it clealy said I would get one push and one pull prop. However, I only received the one push prop.

Smoooth
Very smooth and were already balanced when they arrived. I hate having to balance props so this was a major plus. Copter even sounds quiter with these on. Get em!

Worked great, not surprising I've used APC before on my quad-copter. The best part is they are prime eligible so I don't have to wait a week or more to get replacements and I don't have to have a bunch on hand.

Beware of incorrect product description by seller (BT Group)
For my order of "one (1)"... I received two, separately packaged props, both of which were APC 10x4.7 SFP. From the product description page I expected to receive one each of 10x4.7SF and 10x4.7SFP. Next time I will simply order from the manufacturer, Landing Products (apcprops dot com).

High quality, balanced well
These are stiff, high quality and well balanced props. Because of their high strength, they can withstand a beating. But, contact with hard objects will result in breakage (to be expected). Will be purchasing more...
