Is this the same as the original edt but stronger and longer lasting as a parfum? or is it completely different?

EDP and parfum are more concentrated than EDT and does last longer, but the smell is much different. I recently bought the EDP and I did not like the smell; gave it away. I just reordered and got the EDT. The EDT is going to be that classic Acqua Di Gio smell to which most are accustomed.
